Aquamist Water Injection
I am thinking of installing WI instead of intercooler. I saw that FM is selling acquamist kits and was wondering why these kits are way more expensive than the other brands. Is it because they support more boost? Better quality? or maybe because they come from the UK?

it is becouse it is FM the other kits are just as good when mated with a digital controler for what it's worth i ran up to 15psi with my simple WI kit. With no timming controller or intercooler.

I have an Aquamist, but I bought it used for a great price. If I had to buy a new kit, I'd buy a DO, or Cooling Mist.

Quite an honest stance from a man who sells DO kits, speaks to your character Kelley.
I'm quite happy with my DO basic kit, started running -30* fluid, and WOW! |
That is why i likened it to the other FM products becouse if carb and etc isnt required DIY pwn's them. Aquamist makes a good product but for the money DIY is where it is at you had it right when you called it the porche of WI it is expensive and nice but a chevy can be just as nice and fast without the $$$ in it. to pay for the name or stuff we dont or wont use.

Thanks all for input! I was thinking if it replaces the intercooler, it may be worth spending a bit more. If it comes in addition to IC, the DIY is more than adequate.
|
no it fully replaces the IC and DIY is adequate.

I bought mine from Enginerunup.com
