cold air temps and WI
The current cold temps locally (25F) has be wondering bout any decreased need for WI or comparison of using it in cold temps compared to 100F ambient temps.

As long as you've got a decent IC, I couldnt imagine 25F air to cause detonation. Just watch and listen for knock. The car turns into a real beast below ~40F doesn't it? Mine spun 'em in second for the first time yesterday.

yes work back the WI map abit cause you wont need as much flow.

Water is a whole different ball game. Remember you are not just lowering IATs....you are slowing down the burn which is the exact same thing high octane gas does. Thats where the big power and safety gains come from. Utilization of the higher octane.
