BEGi Washer Fluid Reservoir for W/M storage - anyone?
I sent an e-mail to BEGi a while back inquiring about this product without response. Hopefully Stephanie will reply to me this time since I recently placed an order with her confirmation.
My question is: Has anyone contemplated or already used this for their injection setup? If so, what is the actual fluid capacity? Are there any fitment issues for the NA folks?
I am trying to avoid a trunk mounted setup to minimize routing in addition to reserving some precious cargo space with the spare tire retained, however, I might have to reconsider.
Thanks in advance!

Are you planning to run methanol, or just plain water?
Methanol and aluminum do not mix. (Well, actually they do- that's the problem.)
Perhaps you could use use a regular kart fuel tank?

Thanks for the reply! My intentions are to start off with a 50/50 solution slowly working toward 1:3 biased without having to resort to anodizing. Mind you, I am going to be non-intercooled. IF I end up going the trunk route, I will probably save toward a fancy, baffled reservoir.
"Worst" case scenario is that I will just stick to WI and convert to E85 later. There are a few stations down here, and I have comfortably tuned with both. Hopefully the subsidies' situation do not ruin it for many haha.

Dude if you want 33% meth then just use Peak -20 washer fluid.
Dude if you have e85 and can deal with the lower # of miles per tank, why not use it?
Dude even if you mount the water tank in the bay, you will also need room for the pump.
Argh no more dude.
Another option for juice would be to use the factory coolant overflow tank. You can use a small bottle for an overflow tank and stuff it in the bumper.

Haha more like wanting 25-33% water. I do not want to drown out combustion and prefer homebrew solutions, however, I have considered spiking Peak with Heet.
E85 - I travel a lot here in SoCal and would like to see if listed stations/pumps open as planned in addition to continued government subsidies. The "buy in" for a good fuel setup to support E85 can be twice that for W/M injection, and my current intent for this car does not make it necessary to have [yet anyway].
Yes, I am fully aware that the pump needs to be correctly mounted having done two installs already. Ideal spots look to be in front of the wheel well behind the fascia. It is funny that you mentioned the overflow because I thought about it a week or two ago. It would be an even better candidate if there was a factory "low level" sensor integrated for the instrument cluster. I have not ruled it out though.
Anyway, thanks for the input!

Float switch

BTW why 33% water? Everything I've read says meth is best with a max of 5% water.

I have a leftover float switch from my last Snow Performance installation heh.
It is a compromise and personal preference based on my own tuning experiences with mine and many other friends/clients' vehicles. With this particular application on the Mazda, I know that I need chemical intercooling and will want to take advantage of supplementing a good amount of my total fueling with a higher effective octane.
