Methanol Injection and Hydra

Hello everyone, I currently have a 05' MSM with a Hydra ECU. Did anyone on here successfully wired their water/alcohol/methanol kit to their Hydra?

you would be the first i believe if it works

I was talking to Jeremy from FM and was told that currently there is a Beta version of Hydra Mist. Should be available once they are done testing the unit.

there's a big ass post on the hydraems.com/forums site about hydramist.

dont see why you couldn't also get the system 2c from aquamist and make a map to pulse the high speed valve like an injector. oh wait! I'm gonna do that.

With a programmable ECU, all you need to do is run a simple injection kit with a solenoid and then tune around that psi that the ECU turns the solenoid and pump on. Adjust boost/AF/timing accordingly. This assumes that the Hydra has an external output to send power to the solenoid to fire it at a given boost.

it sure does. somewhere I have a secret underground pinout spreadsheet that I made myself because they wont give one out. :)

There's probably 3 - 4 spare outputs, some of which are 3D mappable.

I have a hydramist that I should be installing later this month. Aside from integration with your hydra maps the big plus it offers is protection-- if you run out of water you'll be ok etc etc.
