Thinking of WI on my P5
I have a ~40K+ or so boosted on my P5 without an intercooler  It's just a little T3 .60/.48.
I'm running ~6psi of boost now, @ 8 the clutch started to slip so I backed her down a tad (new clutch is going in ASAP) I usually retard my timing qiute a bit to compensate especially in the summer, which hits around July 4-10, before the first frost hits :rly: Originally I wanted a SC, but years ago, none was available, and what is available today is pretty much hack stuff. Anyway, the DO for less than $200? is pretty attractive. Obviously we get the good windshield washer fluid up here so that isn't a problem. I don't anticipate ever running over 10psi, I only need a couple of hundred HP to cart the kids around. That and the FS rods are weak as sh1t over 220... |
I think the basic kit would fit the bill just fine. I'd be pretty interested in your final results.

Say what? :rly:
For the P5, not the Miata.... IF the MP62 Kit for the Focus could be made to fit the Protege I would have been all over it (JR makes that kit IIRC), There is a 2.0 kit used on the Ford Probe but you have to give up AC, something I'm not going to do with kids... |

I will post up pics, once I et the car back... She has it... I've been tied up turbocharging this Hyundai...
First impression, pretty easy to install, If I had rad the directions first I wouldn't have had to move the Pump, but no biggie |
