Looks great. I have 2 different WI kits of a sort in my garage... and yet never find the time or motivation to install either. Probably a big factor is that my IC is so damn huge I don't get any hot air into the engine. Some day I'll just do the install for the hell of it though, some day.

Free water for my water injection system!

The A/C produces almost 3 gallons of water every day. I have been collecting it from three A/C units for a few days now, and have close to 80 liters already, which is more than 20 gallons.
This is the only side benefit of the incredibly hot and humid summer we have been having, so far.

Is water expensive in your area? Here we just turn on the tap.

One of the pluses of living in Vancouver, our water is rated as the cleanest in North America and equal to distilled water for purposes like this.

This is a very nice setup, I'll end up using this in the future if I follow suit.

Few questions though, do you have the bottoms of those tanks at an angle to help with the draining? I can just see the fluid getting to 1/4 full and not getting to the pump anymore..

And how long do you go before refills?

The tank bottoms are flat, I just take advantage of the sloshing effect :)

As for refills, up to three days on some occasions. There are times when I return home on empty in just a day.
A sane driver would drive for almost a week on that water.

Just a quick update about EGT:

The highest EGT I was able to record after several hard and long pulls was 800C.
I did about 5 pulls from about 2600 rpm all the way to redline, shifting from 3rd, to 4th and 5th.
I suppose the system works.

Update:

I was using 4 63cc nozzles on my progressive setup.

After the rebuild and the extensive porting/polishing, I decided to use a "huge" crank pulley for a 150/65 mm ratio, giving me about 16.5 psi.

Available water was just not enough after these changes. And that manifested itself in the form of detonation above the 8 psi level recently with my rather aggressive advance table.

A set of 126 cc nozzles (with a combined capacity of 8 gal/hr) and ramping the max flow up to 16 psi solved the problem.

Power is good.
