Default where to put jet in sc system

I have a jackson racing sc with no intercooler and want some advice on where to mount the jet for my water injection. I was hoping I could mount it in the plastic crossover tube before the dummy throtle body. It would be about 3 inches away from the dummy throtle body. If you guys think that would be ok is it best to mount it pointing up? Down? Or does it not matter?

Some of the dummy throttle plates have a 1/8 npt threaded hole in the side that is unused/plugged.
For my kit the nozzle was actually threaded for 1/8npt so i put it right there

its probably bad that i did that because the mist is 'bouncing' off the walls of the threads (inside the dummy)

the location that you stated is good, try and do it were the nozzle is on the bottom pointing up, and have a tiny bit of the nozzle poking out. this is for the best spread of particles without them 'bouncing' around and creating bigger droplets. but then again its being sucked in so fast that it would probably be ok.

make sure that it's sealed so no boost can leak.
