WI effect on intake temp sensor

The intake temp sensor on my car is mounted about 3 inches below the Throtle body. FMII system. where do you reccommend placing the nozzle for the water spray? Does it need to be up or down stream form the sensor? I guess down stream would give a more accurate air temp reading but would it adversly affect the sensor those suckers are 110.00 a pop.

This has been debated for a while since you are running a fmic on your fm2 i would keep it before the spray and just decrease your temperature timming reduction. Alot of peoplle seem to think the WI will flake the caoting of the sensor. But no one has tried it extensivly anyway the ait reduction is drastic.
And in your case since you have a fmic i assume would be comming on at 6-7psi and staying on continous till the boost pressure goes below that. WI is very simple Micheal that is why it works especialy if you want something reliable i say keep it as simple as possible. Good luck with your build and hit us up if you have any more questions.

I never see any issues with IAT sensors that have the nozzle installed right before them. I would install the nozzle before it.
