WI for road racing?
How much water would get used? How large of a tank will be necessary?
How long are you planning to be racing for. I have a 2.5gallon tank that I use only about 1.5gallons every 4-6 days. I drive it pretty hard too, so, if you really wanted to road race and use just WI to cool the charge, I would use a large resevoir to be safe, or just use it to compliment an intercooler, and set the activate point only close to max boost.

Depends on your jet size, when you activate it, etc.

I use about 2 quarts every 15 minutes of on time with a 176cc/min nozzle set rated at 70 psi but operating at 100 psi so my 1.5 gallons will last me for 45 minutes of 4+ psi boost how long is the race how small is your tubro when is the activation point for your system spray. since you are only dealing with one nozzle at 100% duty cycle figuring out your ussage is pretty easy.

I would recommend the 2.5 gallon tank if you are going to be road racing since you are going to spend a lot of time in boost.
I would say the 2.5 at least. I used to spray on my WRX and I could go through 1 gal in an afternoon if I was really romping on it.

Anyone know offhand how much the washer reservoir holds?
Maybe 3 quarts? Doesn't look like much.
Pretty sure I could piss and fill it up after a few beers. I'd say ~2 quarts. That's why I got the 4quart-1gallon tank from DO it's pretty small.
My US spec 99 holds 3 quarts. IIRC, the Candadian spec WW holds 4 quarts.
there are also different washers depending on whether or not you have abs, with i'm assuming different capacity.

Huh?

I went through a 2.5 quart tank every 15 minutes on track. Using 2 60cc nozzles at about 80 psi pressure, engaged at 5 psi and max flow at 10 psi, blower sees 10 psi. It was a pain in the butt to keep refilling, so I got a second 2.5 quart tank to add, and a 5 gallon jug for the mix when I go back to the track. I also have a non-WI and WI calibration for the Emanage just in case.
