I dropped the cluster down to $40, $75 was a bit high. I have it all in a box ready to ship when I get to LA tomorrow.

We have $100 in parts, since I can't get a quote right now, how would $115 shipped, work for you?
About to send payment now, how much extra for the fuel lid?

Going to try to send it again and cancel the original transaction. Maybe Paypal is just being screwy. Give me a couple minutes.

Alpinaturbo, I'll accept your offer of $250 shipped. I think the sub frame is ok, but I'll need to check it out better when I get in there, on monday or tue.

Jared,
I can do the sensor and plug for $25 shipped. I'm not local to Santa Monica, but I'm in West Covina for a day or two every week. $20 picked up.

dstn2bdoa 09-04-2010 11:57 PM

I updated the OP to show prices.

ABsrpt, old gray frog - Brakes are still available

whitena- still havn't gotten home to check the rain rail.

dgnorr- new control arm price

absRTP 09-05-2010 12:26 AM

good, my offer is fine?

Jfornachon 09-05-2010 01:41 AM

Thank you. I will have to money off to you. I will include my adress.

Have a great day,
Jared

absRTP 09-05-2010 02:10 PM

I'm waiting for a your paypal address by PM, then I'll sent you the payment

dstn2bdoa 09-06-2010 03:43 PM

Ok, I'm back home now. Just worked 96 hours straight with about 9 hours total sleep. All jacked up on Red Bull, ready to work on the car.

absrtp: Sorry I haven't responded. The rotors alone weigh just over 50#, shipping on them is going to be over $50 (I just shipped a head that weighed this much). This isn't even taking the calipers into consideration. Shipping on this set up is going to cost $60-75. Then I have to buy boxes, and paypal fees. I'd like to get more than $100-125 for a complete set of 01 sport brakes. The regular 1.8's are going for more than that.
Feel like doing $250 shipped and you handle paypal fees? Seems reasonable to me:)

Anyone else want me to pull anything while I'm out there with my impact gun?

absRTP 09-06-2010 03:47 PM

seems good, when you say you can turned them or I'll have to do, what de you mean?

dstn2bdoa 09-06-2010 04:06 PM

You know how rotors will rust a little overnight after a rain? Well these sat in a few rains, I think these have a little more than can be rubbed off from driving. Check the pic's on page one again.

I have a mech that will turn them for $10 each, this takes off a couple of mm. Since I live in BFE, I'm not heading by his place till saturday, and wont be back by till next saturday. So shipping wouldn't be for a week or two. Or I can ship them to you and you can take them to your local brake shop and they will do it for you.

ilmare 09-06-2010 05:13 PM

How much for driver side seat rails with seatbelt latch?

dstn2bdoa 09-06-2010 06:39 PM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opWb7pideFg

Keeping the rails for now, I may use them for my new seats.

Lets give it a little time.

Put all the rotors in a large flat rate box, and the calipers/lines/brackets in another. You'll be looking at 30 for shipping. If that's fine, I'll paypal you tonight once you send an address. No need to have them turned. I can do it at work if they really need it.

I can't tell, are the shocks bilsteins? If so, best price on those also in the PM and I'll probably take them.

No real rush on shipping. As long as they come in under the 30 day paypal deadline, I'm happy.

*Edit* I'm a moron and don't know what cars had one. Guess the SE's had sport brakes but didn't have Bilsteins. Price on top hats please

durangomx-5 09-07-2010 12:16 AM

Are the tires on the chrome rims any good? If so I can do $135 shipped to 81301.

dstn2bdoa 09-07-2010 01:25 AM

I got the steering wheel and parking brake pulled for nsimpson89.

The secondary o2 sensor for jfornachon , that was a bitch BTW.

Door cards for pschmidt. There are some flaws that I didn't notice till I pulled them today. I will load up some pics tomorrow to see if your still interested.

I was looking at wheels today, theyre totally scratched up. The tires are distroyed. It would cost more to remove the tires and ship the wheels, than their worth. I will post up pics just in case any one is still interested.

Absrtp are you in? if so my pay pal is on the first post, if not chp.....6 sounds interested.

The wife wants some attention, I'll post up more in the morning.

absRTP 09-07-2010 06:10 AM

perfect with me, I'll have them turned at my local shop, send me your paypal address

I'll pay you during the day

nsimpson89- Your paid up, I will ship today or tomorrow also. Thank you for your patience.

chpms5w6- If ABSrtp falls through on the brakes I'll let you know. Not bilstiens, Would $65 shipped work for the top hats?

pschmidt- Here are the door cards pix I promised. I have no Idea how I missed these flaws when it was in the car. I noticed them when wiping them down for packaging. I know you weren't expecting perfect, but I just wanted to give you full disclosure, no surprises.

absRTP 09-07-2010 03:02 PM

so, $250, I send money as a gift, so no paypal fee?

if not, +3%

then you'll ship to my paypal street address?

I just wanna let you know that I'm in Quebec, Canada, bedore sending you the money, just to make sure you read it on the other post

dstn2bdoa 09-07-2010 03:50 PM

Now that you mention it, I remember it. If this fits into the flat rate boxes, I don't think it will be a problem. Why don't you Pm me your phone #, If I run into any problems at the post office I'll just call you, and we can decide together if it's going to be to much of a hassle.

Otherwise, $250 and I'll ship to the pay pal address.

dstn2bdoa 09-07-2010 05:15 PM

I just called the post office, I can handle the Canada rates. Their boxed up, pay pal the money and I ship. Nothing left to negotiate.

absRTP 09-08-2010 08:55 AM

payment sent for the brake!

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 12:18 PM

It looks like I'm going to have to refund it:doh: That is unless you want to spend $180+ for shipping.

It looks like the government worker that gave me a quote over the phone yesterday was sadly mistaken. She quoted me $36 bucks for a flat rate box weighing 50lbs to Canada. The guy at the post office just now wanted $86 for the 38lbs one. The other box that weighed 50lbs would have been even more. You could almost get a BBK for what this would have wound up costing.

I highly doubt that your going to want to pay this, so I'm just going to refund your money. I am very sorry about this, especially since it took us so long to come to an agreement. I wish you luck in finding a set of sport brakes.

chp.....6 still interested?

absRTP 09-08-2010 02:19 PM

ookkk....

:(

.....

I'm waiting for my refund

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 02:21 PM

You don't still want it do you?

absRTP 09-08-2010 02:23 PM

hmmmmm....

I think I did'nt get it right.....

You say it will be what?

$150 more for the shipping, or $50 more?

And, how much for the Caliper, the pads, the bracket for the caliper...

well.... everything for the swap except the rotor....

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 02:35 PM

I was originally quoted $36 per box thats $72 total shipping. I was charging you $250, that left me with $178. I was hoping for more since I've seen 1.8 brakes sell for more, but time are tough and I figured I could live it.

The actual shipping cost is $199 based on the second box weighing in at 50lbs. I never had them check it since the first one was so much $$. That's $127 more (over the original $72) for shipping. That would bring your total cost (inc pay pal fees) to $388.

If you want to do this I'll drive right back to the post office and send them, I just thought you'd say no.

absRTP 09-08-2010 02:39 PM

Ok, I'm not gonna pay 400$ ++ Can.... but I think the rotor are a big part of the weight

you might maybe substract some $$ and refund it to me and get everything shipped without the rotors?

chpmnsws6 09-08-2010 02:43 PM

Start out with 225 for the brakes and top hats, then let me know how much more is needed (should take 2-3 large flat rate boxes all together)?

If thats fine, please PM me. I don't have the time to watch the thread right now, which was why it took so long to see it in the first place :)

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 02:45 PM

Yes they are. If I shipped with out the rotors, shipping would be $86, thats the box they gave me the quote for.

If these don't sell as a set, I'll split them up. But for now as a set only.

I'm beginning to understand why many people wont ship across the border.

absRTP 09-08-2010 02:47 PM

I got alot of stuff from "across the border" but never went over 40 lbs....

I'm sorry this won't work.....

I'll wait for my $257.00 USD to get back in my paypal account

Thanks

Its a royal PITA. I shipped my old turbo kit across the line and it was over 1500 for shipping once all said and done for the FMII kit, torsen, radiator, and exhaust.

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 02:49 PM

dstn2bdoa 09-08-2010 02:51 PM

Chp I'll pm you soon after that.

absRTP 09-08-2010 02:54 PM

got the money back

THanks for your time

and good luck to the next buyer

I'll continue looking for a set near North East USA.... cheaper on shipping...

chpmnsws6 09-08-2010 03:35 PM

Paid. Brakes and hats are sold

dstn2bdoa 09-22-2010 03:42 PM

Hey guys, I just got back from vacation.

Did everyone get their stuff? I don't have the tracking #'s here with me at work to check. If your happy with the transaction, leave feedback, I'll reciprocate.

CHP....6 I pulled the shocks, and am trying to find a spring compressor to get your top hats off. None of the hillbilly shops around here have the loan-a-tool program, I'll get them to you soon.

Nice price on the brakes huh, did you see the other kit for sale, lev is asking $400. BTW do you need the lines? I'll pull them if you need them too.
