1.6 top mount manifold, divorced/diverted downpipe, and test pipe

Manifold is made out of .109" (12ga) 304 SS material TIG welded inside and out where possible. The turbo flange is tapped for studs but far enough from the "log" that the holes can be drilled out and a bolt+nut used instead. It fits the standard Garrett T25/T28 flange. Clears A/C and power steering. Can be clocked up/down/to the side.

SGDP Downpipe is made from polished 16 gauge piping, 304 stainless as well (the inside is just as nice and smooth as the outside). Starts at 2" (the biggest you can fit while having decent access to bolts), swages to 2.5" after the first bend, and continues to the flange. WG dump tube is 1.5". Flanges are mild to minimize warping. WG dump tube is about 12" long. A flex joint is welded at the end of the downpipe to allow for some give between manfold/dp and rest of the exhaust. It's internally lined so it will not fail with high boost. The end flange is in the same location as the OEM header.

The test pipe is made from the same materials (2.5" OD, 304 SS) and is a direct replacement to the OEM catalytic converter.

hustler 09-28-2009 12:26 PM

I really want you to buy a shear so you can do my sheet-metal work.

gospeed81 09-28-2009 12:35 PM

Are you going to continue making these manifolds?

How much will they be a few months from now?

ARTech 09-28-2009 09:22 PM

I need a little cash flow before investing in more tools. Help me out and buy this for you daily ;)

Yeah, I plan on doing this for a while.

Depends how many months. My overhead is very little right now. If overhead goes up, my prices will go up with it.

Cspence 09-28-2009 09:54 PM

Very nice! I'd say its well worth the asking price!

will the DP work with Begi-S kit? never mind the turbo is mounted differently.

Working on it...your heat shield too if you haven't made one yet.

Yeah, pretty much no one's DP works with someone elses manifold, unless it was built specifically for it.

apariah 09-29-2009 06:10 PM

I havn't done anything yet, I hope to have my car in the shop by the end of the week. They are not going to total it, but I don't know how much I'm going to get for it yet. After that its time for a shield since I plan to upgrade injectors and turn up the boost soon!

Wellllllll shiznit! I guess I won't be making any log manifolds ever!!

I don't know how you are making any money off this, especially with the dump tube style downpipe! Looks beautiful man, really. Nice job. $50 for the test pipe...I pay about $21 for each of those OEM 2-bolt flanges, how do you do it?

apariah 09-30-2009 04:09 PM

That flange price is great considering the exhaust shop I'm going to use charges 50.00 per set. And I'm sure both of you use better material, and don't order in the volume this guy does.

ARTech 10-01-2009 12:00 PM

Lets say, I've had a little luck on my side. A few things have worked out in my favor. Knowing the right peaople definitely helps. I know I won't be able to offer these prices forever, so if you're debating wheter to buy or wait, now is a good time.

p51hellfire 10-12-2009 07:52 PM

up for a good setup!!!
