1.6L Turbo Kit

I got a turbo kit for a 1.6L Miata that is based around a second gen mitsubishi T25 which was rebuilt about 10k miles ago. The items that are included in the sale is the following:

1. Cracked manifold, so a new one should be made. You can run as is or you can repair this one. Still boosted fine but later in the rpm range. Boost starts at around 3k.
2. 2.5" stainless steel downpipe
3. Test pipe 2.5" - 2.25" w/wideband O2 bung
4. Turbo XS BOV
5. OEM intake track modified for the BOV
6. Steel Braided oil feed line and required fittings
7. Turbo water lines
8. 12:1 rising rate fuel pressure regulator
9. All necessary silicone hose adaptors
10. Mitsu T25 turbo w/internal wastegate

Pretty much everything necessary to get your miata up and running. Only thing you would need is a pipe to hook up to your AFM and a filter. I didn't need this because i'm running MS.

Don't need this cause i'm upgrading to a T3 turbo.

$500 OBO

where are you located? I am interested

I'm in Honolulu, HI. Figure that shipping is gonna be quite a bit. Maybe around $100 since everything is pretty heavy. I may be able to ship most of the smaller items such as the turbo, etc using flat rate boxes. The downpipe, test pipe, and intake tract will cost the most.

I will post pics soon.

Actually, here are some pics when it was on the car. Some things that are different now:

1. The hard line for the oil feed line is now steel braided
2. No pipe that connects the turbo to the AFM, although there is the silicone 90 degree adaptor and a short piece 2.5" straight tube and a fitting for the breather line.

Other than that its what you see. I'll take additional pics when I get home of the pieces out of the car. I have to clean them up cause there is some grime and stuff on the parts.

Was that an ebay mani?

supersuk 05-15-2008 10:13 PM

Yes it is. Thats why its all cracked. Use it as a template to make a new one to use the dp. The dp had to be cut and rewelded at the lower section to clear the transmission and tunnel. Fits good now.

Is the FMU fitted the wrong way?

STock FPR ---> offset FMU Fitting --> Center FMU ---> return hardline

wes65 05-15-2008 10:22 PM

any idea what it would take to ship it?

supersuk 05-15-2008 11:10 PM

Yes, in that photo the FMU was hooked up wrong, it has been fixed since. These photos are when I first installed it.

It wouldn't take a lot. I have the boxes ready to ship this thing. Just that you have to pay for the shipping. I'm gonna say that shipping will be in the $100 area. I will only charge exact shipping charges so if you give me too much money for shipping, i'll refund the diff. I'm not out to rip anyone off. Just wanna offset the cost of my new system and get the parts out of here.

Price is negotiable. Just set that price to bargin off of.

supersuk 05-19-2008 04:26 PM

I'll sell the turbo, all water/oil lines, BOV w/adaptor to work with OEM intake tract, all necessary silicone couplers to make the turbo tie into the oem intake, 12:1 FMU, and a silicone coupler to connect a 2.5" pipe to the AFM.

All for $350 shipped in the 48 continental US.
