that's actually a really good price... wish I had the cash. where are you located? Someone will want to know.

I really don't have the cash right now either, but seems like a good deal.
Will these drop into my NA? |
Yes they will.

Will these drop into my NA? It'll raise your ride height though, even over the stock NA heights. |
I dont remember hearing that.

Shock bodies are longer, so you'd be closer to the bumpstops at equivalent ride heights. Plus, the NB was a heavier car, so resulting ride height will be slightly higher. Also, the Hard S isn't suited for much stiffer springs, so you'd have to keep the stockers or have them revalved.

IIRC shaihk @ fatcat said that these could handle 300-350 lbs springs before needing a revalve. BTW, i'm located in austin, tx but have no problem shipping these.
|
sweet... if I have some extra cash available after xmas I'll let you know. I'm in houston and have family in Austin. Might make a trip out there and pick them up or something.

The original equipment Hard S Bilstein is valved for ~168/112 spring front/rear. If you exceed those, then you will have a VERY undamped car.
The longer shock bodies of the NB Bilsteins makes it a poor choice for an NA. You can never sit lower than stock without being on the bump stops all the time. I don't think you want that...? Not trying to dump on this sale, I'm just trying to help where I can. |
