I'll drive as far as Grand Junction, that's about halfway, we meet in the middle?

thumpetto007 07-16-2016 09:52 PM

bump. someone buy these.

18psi 07-17-2016 12:31 AM

Want rims
Dont want tires

thumpetto007 07-17-2016 12:56 AM

even though they are 15x7's?

I'll drive to boulder for an extra 150 dollar pain, suffering, and delivery fee. well, maybe I should check what shipping would cost to Boulder, first...

Sorry for not replying sooner, but I had a family emergency.

I just moved to Boulder and I am still debating whether to just by something with awd right away or see what the Miata can do with winter tires.

Thanks.

Part of the reason I'm selling these, other than I barely used them, is I barely had any traction in 1/2 inch of snow. Granted things will be different with a better differential, but the degradation of dry/wet grip when it isn't snowy is not worth having the snow tires. The RE71R tires grip SO MUCH better even below freezing, than the snow tires.

I think having a stiff suspension was the cause of still not having snow traction.

I would recommend having an awd car with snow tires.
