A little different from saying "I AM on vacation." See, when someone uses the word "been" in this context, it generally implies that the listed event took place in the recent past, but is now no longer happening.
Either way, I was quite courteous and made a point of saying I wasn't saying it to be an impatient dick, I was simply asking in order to find out what was going on.

Look, I'm sorry about going off on a rant, but it's kinda stupid to tell someone to chill out when the weren't freaking out to begin with. I mean, I was just seeing what was up and making sure he didn't somehow miss or forget my PM. I really don't understand what your problem is with what I said.
