Default Feeler on 1.6 built motor/custom turbo setup

I've been throwing the idea of an LSx swap back and forth for awhile now, but I guess the biggest issue is whether there is any interest in the current drivetrain so here is the feeler. If I find a buyer for the turbo setup and built motor then I'll probably part it all out and go LSx so looking to see if there is any interest. All located right by Philadelphia, PA.

1.63L built motor with worked head with less than 1k miles - forged pistons, Wiseco rods 8:1 comp ratio, pistons coated, billet oil pump gears, ARP fasteners, head has Integral cams and swapped to solid lifters with shim under bucket, upgraded valvetrain with headwork - $2500

custom Flipside ramhorn turbo setup with 2871 v-banded housing and 38mm Tial WG (9psi spring) and 3" separated WG downpipe as well as midpipe with high flow cat, all fittings/lines - $2000

More info in my build thread here: https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/t29857/

Any questions PM/e-mail me. Help a brother go LSx!

Your setup is good for well over 300whp. Why would want to change it out just after you got it finished?

BTW. Those prices are an absolute steal!

Damn, if you were closer I'd grab that motor. For the price of the machine work and parts I still need for my build, that would be about the same and already complete.

Good price on that motor, if it doesn't sell soon I will have to take you up on the deal. GLWS

EDIT: Price of tranny? And what are the specs on the cams?

So you people know, it cost me over 5k in parts and machine work to build that motor. To say that price is a steal is such an epic understatement. It has:

Wiseco forged pistons
Belfab rods
MMS shim under bucket lifters
Supertech valves
Supertech springs/retainers
Head is fully ported
Combustion chambers and exhaust ports are ceramic coated
Pistons have ceramic top coat, dry film skirt, oil shedding bottom coat
5 angle valve job
the entire block was gone over and machined including deck, bore/hone, align hone, etc...
crank, crank pully dynamically balance to 10k rpm
pistons and rods balanced
ACL bearings
Cometic HG
ARP head studs
Miataroadster billet OP gears
Shimmed OP for higher pressure
Custom grind Integral Cams with ~10mm lift, 262 dur

I'm sure I'm missing something. Needless to say, very few things on it are stock. Add up all those parts, >$1200 in machinework, and other labor like clearancing the shims and assembly and you will be over 5k.

If you were running a stock 1.8, this would be worth swapping in for the price IMO and selling your 1.8 junk. Is that crazy?

I've got a 92 Miata that should sell for the cost of those.

Before peeps get all excited, read the title, it says feeler. I am seriously on the fence about a LS swap so I figured if there were buyers for the big items, that it would be worth parting out the car. I do not have any plans to ship the motor as crating it up as well as shipping is kind of a pita. The turbo setup would be easy to ship. If it went quick and local, I figured it would sway me one way or the other. As of now looks like it's staying in the car, which I guess in the grand scheme of things is not so terrible.

I'd run with the setup you have now. Had the cost of a built 1.6 and a 6 speed not been more $$ then the LS1 build, I would of gone that route. Its a rush hearing an engine boosting well past 20psi *remembers DSM days*
