Default 1.6l FM3 turbo kit with many extras/ 1.6l Link ECU &extras / 550cc Rx7's, cleaned

Hey guys -

I'm going to be all super faggy and run 4AGE ITB's - yes I know I am a retard. Look at the bright side, I have all this **** that I've collected from my several years of miata turbo'ing that will help someone out.

I am selling *ALL* of the turbo kit for $1000 + 50 to cover partial shipping (lower 48 only) I will cover the rest. The Link and 550cc's are being sold separately in case you have other preferences for fueling. But it would all work great together.

The kit:

Default Very Complete FM3 Turbo Kit for 1.6l, Link standalone, 550cc's
If you've seen my build thread, you've seen me struggle with the decision between running this turbo kit, or the T3 ITB's.
The car made the decision for me - turns out a number of my head studs spun inside the head - no fewer than seven of them. I'm going to try to helicoil the head, and if I'm lucky I'll get away with bolting a header on, but I don't want to try my luck with the significantly heavier turbo kit.

Please note I am *not* parting out the turbo stuff at this time. I will update the listing if I do so. Thanks

So here's what you get -

Flyin Miata FMIII manifold and downpipe -

this was FM's top of the line system severalyears back. It differentiated from the FMII by providing for an external wastegate. It's able to handle big boost and big power. Divorced DP, two piece assembly for ease of installation. I welded in a secondary o2 bung by the rear flange for a wideband o2 probe.fresh metal gaskets included, except for the head to manifold gasket, which you can reuse the one you have.

Garrett T25 turbo from JDM Nissan Silvia SR20DET -
Got this from a Japanese importer, I've cleaned and rebuilt it. Zero miles on the rebuild. Not a smidgeon of shaft play. I also purchased the adapters for the air inlet/outlet to accept silicon couplers. Brand new hard water pipes installed. Wastegate arm is tack welded closed (externally) for use in the FM3,but can be freed with about 10 seconds dremel work if you ever want to sell it. Stock WG can included. Turbo was clocked, so the outlet points downwards for easy IC pipe routing.

Braided Stainless oil feed and drain lines, Drill bit, and Tap -
all you need is a 10AN male to 1/2 NPT male fitting to screw into your oil pan ($5.69 shipped here) - I've got to keep the one I had as it is already screwed/JB Welded into my pan, wihch I'll just cap it off. Also including the proper size drill bit and tap for your oil pan. You don't need *any* other adapters

JDM Sard R2D2 VTA Blow off valve -

So named for its resemblance to the droid (**** now I owe LucasArts). It is quite rare, and makes an awesome noise if you like VTA bov's, and being a dumbass, I do. I looked for this for months.

CXRacing Intercooler -
Same one pretty much everybody at MiataTurbo.net and the MSM guys use, and for good reason. Fits perfectly in the miata mouth, handles any boost level you can throw at it, and is very durable. I am including my own custom mounting bracket, that you can mount to your car with two bolts, into already existing bolt holes. No trimming of your bumper skin required. IC size is 27.5 x 7 x 2.5"

A metric ***-ton of IC pipes and silicon couplers.
My collection from years of turbocharging. Contains a bunch of Flyin Miata /Begi pieces, including a pipe made to attach to the throttle body, with a bung for the idle air control hose. If you buy the Link as well, the air temp sensor for the ECU fits perfectly into this bung, as it was designed to do so. There are many silicon adapters, Tbolt clamps, 2" and 2.5" pipes, among them an entire unused CXRacing 2" pipe/coupler/Tbolt kit. There's enough here to make the piping for three cars. Not pictured as there is too effin much of it.

38mm external wastegate

Yes, it's an eBay part, but it's designed and built in america, it's not chinese. 7-12psi adjustable. Unused. It's BIG. So big that I had to shave the top motor mount bolt for clearance, which I am including so you don't have to. FM designed the kit with the footprint of the Tial wastegates in mind, wouldn't have to use the shaved bolt if you decide to get a Tial instead. Comes with a bunch of extra gaskets.

Pierburg inline auxiliary fuel pump

A great pump that FM and Begi have included in their kits in the past. Begi still sells them. Since they are inline, you keep your stock pump, and install this by the fuel filter fore of the pass rear wheel, saving the messy job of going into the fuel tank. If you will be using a standalone ECU with big injectors, this pump is not necessary, but I'm including it anyway.

K&N cone filter - new and unused. Not much I need to say about it really, it's a K&N. The pipes and silicon adapters needed to get it attached to the turbo are included among the IC pipe kit

Autometer 2 1/16" Carbon Fiber Boost, EGT (pyrometer) and Air/fuel gauges -

The boost gauge is new and unused, the other two are used. Come with all you need. The EGT gauge cost me $115 by itself. The FM3 manifold has a handy spot right at the turbo flange for the EGT probe. manifold is capped with a bolt if you elect not to use the EGT gauge.

Turbo blanket, lower radiator flex hose, throttle body w/ variable TPS

The turbo blanket has seen better days, but works. Was from Mturbo's group buy,not ebay. ugly but it gets the job done well, and hey it's a toss-in. The flex hose is the same type (Gates) as FM gives you in their kits - it replaces the OEM two lower radiator hoses and hard pipe, giving more room to route the hotside IC pipe. Hose is unused. The extra throttle body has a variable TPS (has an extra wire - regular 1.6 5mt is just a WOT switch basically). The TPS will be beneficial if you choose to run Megasquirt or some other standalone that can make use of it. The Link cannot.

So there we have it - absolutely *everything* you need to turbo aside from an ECU and injectors for fueling, which I have for sale below. They are not included, so that you can choose your preferred setup - standalones can use big injectors like the 550's, band aids would use smaller injectors. Everything in the kit is in great condition, the only flaw is a crack in the manifold that was professionally re-welded during the time the previous owner had it. It's not a problem, just want to be thorough in description, no surprises.

$1000 for everything, plus $50 for shipping (I will only ship to the lower 48 states). I expect shipping will actually cost more like $125-150 if you are across the country, but I will cover the difference.

1.6l Flyin Miata Link Standalone ECU -
includes everything and more. Keypad and cable, Map sensor unit, knock sensor, air temp sensor, original packaging, original installation and tuning manuals. I am also including Flyin Miata's new electronic boost controller solenoid, which the Link can utilize. Additionally you will receive a Palm Tungsten T Pda with case, USB cables, stylus. Has a fresh battery. The Palm can be used to run "Plink", which is freeware tuning software for the Link. Full graphical tuning, and monitoring, without the need to lug around a laptop. There are more modern standalones out there now, like the Megasquirt, but I chose the Link because I had no experience tuning an ECU before, only band-aids, and it's easier to set up the Link for a novice. FM's manual goes step by step through the tuning using the keypad in the included bound guide. As an FM sold product, you can also call or email Jeremy at FM with any tuning questions you have, and even have them review and tweak your maps. $400 shipped, lower 48 states only, sorry.
I would keep this, but I need megasquirt, as only it can deal with the toyota TPS on the ITB's.

Rx7 red top 550cc injectors -

I purchased these from an RX7 owner, who had just had them cleaned and flowed by Witchhunter, but had not yet installed them, so they are still fresh, with new seals/grommets. I didn't get the Witchhunter documentation from the seller, but the cleaning is easily apparant. 550cc's will fuel a *lot* of power, and won't require an upgraded pump to do so, they will provide plenty of fuel at stock fuel pressure. These injectors are perfect for the FM3 kit and Link combo. Will work just as well with Megasquirt, Hydra, etc. Plug and play with any miata.
$125 shipped, which is the common cost for these without their being cleaned/flowed.

yes gauges are going with the kit. All I have left is the Link and its accessories. I've also got a CXRacing T25/T28, that new style with the wastegate arm mounted on the hotside so the coldside can be clocked whatever way. Bought that before I found the SR20DET T25. Never bolted up the CX, it's still brand new. Paid $240 shipped, would sell for $150 shipped.
Also have a second spare pierburg inline fuel pump, $40 shipped.
And Bride Vios low max black replicas, unused, with custom brackets that bolt to stock unmodified sliders. Those are $250 but picked up in sterling, va only.
