6 Supra 440 Injectors #23250-42010

2 Attachment(s)
These are low impedance injectors with the "E" Connector

per Braineack:
Direct fit LOW OHM injectors (“E” connector): The same connector shape, but they require wiring in resistors to increase the resistance and filing down the tabs on the sides of the injectors.

86-92 Toyota Supra (7MGTE) TURBO – (430cc – Black Top)

I bought these on eBay not realizing they weren't simple plug-n-play. I just as soon sell them and buy different ones and not be bothered with running resistors and extra grounds with the MSPNP. I paid $57.50 shipped for all 6 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=330188689718& ) and will sell them for $50 plus shipping which should be no more than $5 Priority Mail. Below is an actual pic of the injectors.

these are the injectors i run... they were easy as hell to install. they just have those little tabs that stick out on the injectors. i shaved them off. problem solved. but to sell them is your decision.

I run an MSPNP so in addition to shaving the tabs off(no big deal), and wiring in the resisters(these sound huge in the description in the link below), i also would have to run a bunch of additional grounds as the limitation of the stock wiring affects the MSPNP. Or am I reading that all wrong for the 94/95 PNP?

My 94 is running DSM 450's on a 3.0 board no problems... But I never saw those threads either so I guess I'm outa the loop and my car shouldn't be running...

Since you don't have to change connectors with these, these would be a better solution

Is the mspnp a 2.2 board?

My understanding is that you only need more grounds if you run low Z injectors without resistors. Once you add the resistors in series with the injectors, they become equivalent to a high Z injector.

cjernigan 12-01-2007 11:43 AM

Jasonrobo is right. If you run the low-z without resistors the extra grounding is needed. With resistors you don't need the extra grounding because they're then high-z.

Braineack 12-01-2007 12:02 PM

$50 shipped plus an extra $20 for resistors is still a good deal.

1. are we talking about really small resistors or something the size of a cigarette pack as Jerry mentioned in that thread?

2. is heat an issue with the low z injectors if i do the extra ground?

3. are we talking just one extra ground wire from the middle connector pin 7?

sale on hold. i think i'm gonna keep em. thanks for the help

compy 07-28-2008 10:26 PM

I know you said these were on hold, but are they available yet?

paul 07-28-2008 10:37 PM

I ended up not using them so they are still available. $50 shipped to Cont. US.
