FYI it likely needs some touch up, but should work fine for anyone not afraid to get their hands dirty - having the jimstim will help. But at one point this card and MS together did run a car, got it to start, idle, etc just fine - so it's not a lost cause. :-)

Thanks for the plug Abe. FYI I got it hooked up to the point that engine will crank but will not start. AC works while ignition was on. I think it just needs tuning. I fail on this, I don't know megatune.

Will also consider trades for clutch and/or flywheel combination.

You'll need this GM Open Element IAT Sensor with Pigtail DIYAutoTune.com and a vaccumm hose coming from your intake manifold.

Are you carazy it's over $22 for that sensor, plus a vacuum hose !!

Actually I'm starting to bite, I just dont want to kick myself in 6 months thinking I should have bought an Adaptronic.

I want to confirm how well this will work in an NBB

Yep its $22, that's including a pigtail. Go to your local NAPA store and ask how much it costs and it does not include a pigtail.

I guess just save up and buy an Adaptronic

I was joking on the $22, thats a deal.

With an adap costing over $900 i'm not prepared for it right now.

What are you replacing the MS with BTW?

Looks like you have another thread for this, I'll post there. The short answer is it's not PnP for a "nbb", VVT cars have different plugs and VVT. it can be dealt with, but you'll at minimum have some soldering to do and probably end up running the VVT on an RPM switch (via the MS, but still, not full control).

That said, lots of winning CSP folks do this, and if full support ever comes (say I start running VVT in my car, a real possibility - I might write it myself) you'll be in the win.

I hope i'm not infringing with the double threading. I'll keep my questions over on the ECU section now. Thanks
