90-93 built and running DIYpnp w/ BIP and sequential injection $550 shipped

This is set up for my 93 miata. I will provide an excel spreadsheet that includes all of the connections that have been made including the DB15 pinout. It is currently in the car, but can be removed in a few minutes. It will come with my current tune and the latest 3.1 firmware. My car runs fantastic on this system.

$550 shipped.

Is this for a 1.6. will it run the a/c. do I need a WB O2 sensor?

miatauser884 03-02-2011 12:15 PM

It is wired for a 1.6 harness. It's easily modified for a 1.8, but if you have to go in and rewire, then you might as well start from scratch and build your own. You can buy a new one with these parts for $500 + shipping from diy. So, the extra $70 you are paying is really for the benefit of not having to go into the diypnp and do a bunch of wiring. Plus all the work I've put into the idle settings etc (Which will surely need to be tweaked slightly for your particular application.)

I run the AC through the stock wiring. I would definitley recommend a WB02 sensor to anyone. It makes tuning fuel effortless. The way it is wired, you unhook the factory o2 sensor, and connect your WB02 wiring to the stock harness. (Still have to run a +12 and gnd connetions) I added soem +12 and gnd to the DB15 harness for this reason. Just buy a small in line fues to put between diypnp and whatever is connected to it. No real concerns, just piece of mind.

IAT hooks to MAT harness. The how-to is in the rest of the excel sheet I have posted. ( All the info is on this site, but my sheet just consolidates it for this application.)

If you want sequential injection ( I highly recomend for idle and throttle response) You modify your injector harness to accomodate the INJ outputs fromt he DB 15. Clip and connect two wires.

Fan output from DB 15 goes to wire on 1.6 that hooks to front coolant sensor.

Tell you what. It's a few hours of work to get hooked up. Whoever buys it will have my support. My excel sheet puts all the info in one spot. A couple of things in my tune will need to be changed based upon the individuals setup. i.e. dwell time for stock coils vs COPs.

Hope this helps

There has to be someone that wants this.

DragonsMaw 03-03-2011 05:45 PM

Want: Yes
Has Money: No

Would take it in a snap if I could but I don't know when I'll have that kind of scratch for more parts =(

Sell your body. diyPNP is worth it. I'll even ship for free to Vancouver.

Did the sequential for the 1.6 really make that much of a difference?

miatauser884 03-03-2011 09:21 PM

I've always had sequential on my 1.6. My LINK supported sequential injection. It got smoother with the diyPNP, but that may have been better resolution from diypnp. I ran batch inj on my 1.8 once, while trying to determine if I want seq fuel or spark. I'll do without seq spark any day to get seq fuel.

All I managed to get was $50 and some funny colored rocks. I think I'm doing this wrong.

Saving for this but it'll be a while. Still need to get my miata back on the road too. Good luck!
