90-93 vlsd complete florida
i have a vlsd diff out of a wrecked 91 miata that i was going to put into my car. but now i am doing the monster swap so i need a ford 7.5 rear end. it passed the posi test in and out of the car, the odometer said 76,000 on the car it was pulled from. asking $300. or trade for other miata parts? prefer local pick up, but i could shipp at buyers expense. call jason 561-601-5694. i can e-mail pics or probably a small video of the pinion turning and both axle shafts turning the same directions.

where in florida? and you will never get $300 for a 1.6 rear end. i will give you $50 for it
|
sweet deal
ha, $50? thats a nice try, but posi is worth a bit more than that. I paid 400 for my vlsd, wish i waited 2 months and i woulda seen this... but i guess i would have missed out on doin all that DRIFTING and DOUGHNUTS the last few months that you girls without posi can't do. open dif is for girls. i might be buying a second miata in a month, but i doubt u'll have this available in a week. and for the record, even if you could find a vlsd in a junk yard (which is impossible because the spec guys take them out the day they get there and theyre super rare to begin with) you'd pay more then 50 bucks and thats if you got in there and took it out yerself.
|
wow, you paid 400 for a piece of shit weak ass 1.6 vlsd? Somebody beat you over the head.
|
I got mine for free. I threw it away the next week.
|
wow an internet tough guy.:jerkit: 50 dollars wont buy you anything for a miata. if you have $50, than $300 minus $50 equals only $250 you have to save up.:giggle: i would pay 400 for a vlsd if i wasnt doing the v8 swap. im in no rush to sell it for $50. go pick on someone else. im in boynton, west palm.
|
there not even 50$ on ebay i say 300$ is a very reasonable price

well good luck. we all know that 1.6 diffs are in really high demand, so it should sell quick, lol

honestly dude $200 would be a little high, even if it included the driveshaft and axles. for $300 you can have yourself a complete open 1.8 swap, and you won't notice what your missing from that VLSD, because it's about toast at that mileage. |
funny how a simple for sale add turns into a debate about rear diffs, and money. instead of just keep looking for what you want at the price you want it for, you post negative coments about something you dont even want. i thought us miata owners were more mature than that because we are criticized by other car owners who have bad opinions about miatas. but i guess i was wrong.:bang:

Despite what some of the 'experts' here think nearly any diff assy w/stubs will bring $200-300..if not more for the better stuff. Unlike some 'experts' I have actually sold ALOT of them....and never once had to twist anyones arm to buy one.

somebody who knows nothing about cars will pay 300$ for a 1.6l diff if their diff blew, but trust me blueoval, you wont get a buyer from here for $300.

Your buyers were most likely morons.
out there just need replacement parts for a broken car. Others into autocross use a VLSD to keep their car in stock trim. Spending a couple hundred bucks to get a car back on the road is quite normal. In fact many well known vendors and spec racers have bought multiple diffs from me....some even for resale...imagine that! Contrary to internet wisdom, until just recently the demand for 'worthless' 1.6 OPEN diffs was quite high....they were in short supply even. It wasnt unusual for me to buy $50 diffs from 'pricing experts' and flip them for $250-300. In fact, an open diff would outsell a VLSD. But everyone knows that guys that build championship spec Miatas are just 'morons'...yeah uhhuh. That being said...it is true that this forum is not the place to sell a 1.6 diff. Turbos need stout drivetrain. If you want to have fun call Mazmart for a 1.6 diff....and see what kind of price you get. Its gonna be more then $50 I can tell you that. I guess all their customers are just morons though....:cjerk: |
