'93 Base Part Out

I picked up this ’93 base trim with the intentions of putting it back together and selling it as a whole. Unfortunately a 14yr old kid with no mechanical guidance rebuilt the motor, so I don’t feel it’s worth the headache. The long block is probably only good for a core or a rebuild project. The body is pretty straight. The doors have multiple door dings, but don’t appear to have any major damage. The soft top is trash. Only thing worth saving is the frame. Can you verify the pulley hasn't slipped by checking mechanical TDC, and making sure it points to the T on the timing cover?

You'll have to be more specific, as even I don't know what you're talking about.
Do you want the aluminum cover? Or some electrical relay that connects the temp gauge sensor and ECU temp sensor? |

I'll have to check on the speedo cable squeaking and I do still have the gauge cluster. The color is a little faded on the gauge cluster and there is a small crack in the clear cover. If you're interested, I'll do $40 shipped USPS for both.

Do you have any NB rear subframes lying around? The Laz build got me thinking.

You apparently only need the uprights for the +5mm offset, however the NB subframe does give you the mounting points for the ladder brace.
I was surprised to find no differences in bracing or design in the PPF or subframe, from a '92 to an '05, like Mazda did in the interior of the tub. |

They don't, but you can either cut those legs off the brace, or drill for some mighty big rivnuts. Those legs that go from the subframe to the chassis are the biggest "upgrade" with that ladder brace.
