many interest, but no dibs yet. where are you?i am in canada.

EO2K 04-06-2011 07:26 PM

I'm interested, but I'm in the US. What kind of hassle is Canadian shipping going north-south? I'd send you a PM but I'm still stuck in :noob:-land

dgmorr 04-06-2011 08:22 PM

Are you really swapping this out for an Adaptronic?

there is no hassle. you pay me, i put it in box and ship it, you will get it in about 2 weeks, that's all.

not sure if the package will fit your mail box, if not you have to go to the post office to get it.

and sorry, no trade. i am trying get out of the game.

thx

Awesome. Any idea what generation of MS2 is inside the case? Tracked your link back, looks like this was built in 08? I'm also curious if you are running it with a stock timing wheel, or what other mods you did to get it up and running. MAF or configured to run IAT? I've been looking for a MS for a while, but ill admit I've not done all my research yet. This looks like exactly what I'm looking for!

GVwannabe, I wasn't purposely ignoring you, I just never saw your question in the other thread. Did you get the voltage regulator issue sorted out?

This MS will run on the stock timing wheel, with the internal MAP sensor (ditch the MAF), and uses a GM IAT sensor. Unless something has been changed it should be 100%plug and play after the voltege regulator is wired in.

how much work would it be to convert this to work in my 1.6? if its just making a new harness im interested for sure

Not trying to thread-crap, but this unit looks very similar to the ones that Braineack builds, and I know those are purpose built. I'm a total n00b with this MS stuff, but the 'PNP' style units look like they have to be built to the application, thus this would fit a 99-00 only, due to sensors and stuff, not just the harness connector. I'm sure it probably COULD be made to work, but it would require internal hardware changes? Someone feel free to correct me if I have this wrong...

Thanks, no worries at all... i wasn't sure if it was what i thought i was...and after posting on the forum and doing some research, i got this going.

any yes, you will need the GM IAT sensor from DIY autotune.
