Aluminum Cowl Located Washer Tanks and NB Coolant Resevoirs

2 Attachment(s)
I still have a bunch of aluminum left and looking to make some more of these if there is interest.

*Cowl located washer tank holds approximately 32oz of fluid, utilizes YOUR factory washer pump and grommet. Mounting hardware and instructions included. Fits NA's and NB's (factory passenger side mounted tanks require extension of wiring to work)

*Coolant reservoir utilizes factory NB mounting location. Sorry this tank will not fit NA's.

I'll make either tank for $125 shipped CONUS or $225 shipped CONUS if you want one of each. PM me if interested, Thanks

Edit: Tanks will be made to order.

That looks GREAT!! Bump for you. Might want to think about integrating in a fluid level indicator (I think the easiest is the way some catch cans have a little tube)

Thanks, my only concern with that is having a ton of those elbows and tubing laying around and no one wanting a tank... Especially because I would have to special order them.

I know this sounds really Clubroadster of me, but i'll take one of each when i get paid again on the 22nd.

Difference is that i follow through. :giggle:

So, if you get swamped with orders and think you'll run out of materials, save me a set pretty please? :D

I'll be making the tanks to order. So no problem there.

Yussss.

I dig it! Would clean up the engine bay in my MSM pretty nicely. I'll have to wait since i have other mods I really need to buy first. Hopefully I have one made in the future.

These will sell.

If you can confirm NA fitment for overflow will be in for Both.

Any thoughts on making a nice oil breather tank with mounting brackets as well?

I've had one of Frank's washer fluid tanks for about a year now. Fitment was great, and it does what its supposed to do. I plastidipped mine black so it wouldn't stick out as much.

I also have a washer fluid bottle from Frank and I love it. Have received a few compliments on it.

I just need to get access to one for a test fit. I'll keep you posted.

Oil catch can? I've made a few but there are so many different intakes and routing setups it's one of those things that is a case by case basis for fitment. If you're interested in one PM me and we can talk. I have one on my personal setup that has sen a few different versions.

Wow, that looks incredible! If you can confirm NA fitment, I'll purchase both as well.

mlev 05-13-2015 11:44 PM

In agreement with the above "clubroadster of me" comment, I'm in for an overflow tank as soon as I get paid on the 1st.

These look fricken awesome.

Chooofoojoo 05-13-2015 11:55 PM

BAH! That 'gen-1" catch can is exactly what I've been brainstorming.

But of course NA fitment. Rabble rabble.

ldm54 05-14-2015 04:23 AM

If you can do a reservoir that can fit an NA, I'm in for both.

I don't know how the fitment would be for an NA but if I can find one to test tanks on who knows.

Stand by, once I get another coolant tank built I'll try to find an NA to test it on.

FrankB 05-19-2015 03:13 PM

Thanks for all the interest. I went ahead and ordered fittings and tubing for the coolant overflows so they will have a fluid level indicator unless you would prefer it without one.

I've started working on the first two sets. I should get a lot of these knocked out this week and next.

Starting this Thursday I'll be taking two weeks off work. So, I'll have a lot more time to be dedicated to these.

Voltwings 05-20-2015 10:06 AM

So, whats the possibility of placing the coolant reservoir up in the cowl too? Thinking weight distribution being the ultimate goal, but i imagine a few issues could be:

Not enough room?
Too far a distance may cause some issues?

Very nice pieces though, certainly has sparked my interest.
