Default 99 turbo miata

I'm bailing on my project because of my wedding.

I have 99 10th anni with 76000 miles. I boosted it about 2k miles ago and its been going down hill from there.

whats in it

flyin miata voodoo II kit
megasquirt stand alone.
550cc inj,
m-tuned coolant re-route,
stage two clutch and flywheel,
6 speed manual,
torsen lsd
innovative fuel ratio
autometer boost gauge
bilstein shocks
walbro 255 fp

pros: car runs and drives on base map, body is intact, registered in cali

cons: savage title (minor i have pics) bad ring in cylinder 3 (holds 100), no idle, needs good tune, needs paint job.

motivated to sell, i don't want to see this thing anymore so i want to sell it as a whole

its night here so ill take some pics tomorrow and post them

offers welcome

This setup sounds very close to my car except I have a 5 speed base model with a clean title. What is the price tag?

Good luck with the sale. As far as selling it cause of your wedding plans, I told my fiancé (before we even got engaged) that if she married me, she will posses my heart, but my veins flow gasoline, and I'll be that way no matter if she's with me or not. I have all kinds of vehicles and parts all over, but you gotta just get her the 1 vehicle that she wants and she'll be content.

Damn. I guess miata's aren't for you. Had 2 and bailed on both.

If you shoot me at least a rough guess on a price I can tell people about it for you. I know MANY people around here that are in the scene

Good luck

The salvage title and dying engine will really cut the price.
Gimme a call this weekend. I'll call a few friends and see if someone wants to get it off your hands.

I might be interested in the car as well. fairly new to miatas though, so no clue about the price. I actually have the same car but a few less miles and all stock.

There were only 7500 10AE's built, but I am still all for modding one. In this situation, if it were my car, this would be a complete drivetrain part out to make room for an LS swap. 1 of 7500? How about 1 of 1. I support taking limited production vehicles and making them stand out even more. What's cooler than a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Vette? A Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Vette that was converted to a massive single turbo and makes over 1200 hp to the wheels.

Several relatively easy fixes. First though, the whole 10AE thing? Never gonna raise the price, they plain made too damn many, everywhere, world wide. Now to the good, A low mile, like 40-60k 99-05 engine can be had for as little as $800. Pull the motor and drop in a used engine (ThePartsGroup had an 02' with 40k on it for $850 + shipping, they are in Alabama, but I've got to believe there are similar operations in Cali). Keep the pics of the rebuilt title and all the photos of the restoration to roadworthy. Even still, many banks will shy away from loaning on a car that is rebuilt and over ten years old. So either you part the car, which will make you Bueno more cash, ie: six speeds are $650-800, torsen $800, 10ae seats in good shape $400, Good solid rolling chasis, ideal for those V8 swap guys, $2000 minimum, that Voodoo kit, is worth about $2000 by itself. Wanna go further? You could part the entire car down to the frame for at least $4k. Wanna sell it out right, a clean low mile 10 ae is about $7000 now, -$1500 for rebuilt title - $1500 for bad engine (you have to add labor to the parts in this case), + 1000 for the turbo kit (you are MUCH BETTER OFF SELLING SEPERATELY) and you can expect offers between 4000 and 5000 dollars. GLW whatever you end up deciding to do. All the numbers are based on actual experience in the Southeastern Market, your actual mileage may vary.
