BBB Budget Bilstein Baller Coilover Suspension
$400 + Shipping, split PP fees.
Built these up a couple of years ago. Ran them for two autocross seasons, one track session and a few hundred street miles. Bilsteins originally takeoffs from 1999 10AE. Ground control sleeves and collars 2.5" springs 750lb x 6" front springs 400lb x 6" rear springs Bump stops Extended tophats made from stock NB hats. These center the springs at the in the hat. All rubber bushings and washers associated with mounting shocks into hats. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.mia...47553f1ce.jpeg |
I have some 2.5 metric springs that are about 535 lbs that could go on front of these instead of the 750, but nothing lighter to match rear. Can include. Beehive shape, but they still are smaller than stock springs and fit fine on these.

Amazing that people are climbing over each other to buy poorly designed 2-piece shocks for a grand when you can buy this setup for this price.

what can you get for the price?
A lot of people say this. I had Stock Bilsteins on Tein S-Tech springs and stock perches and they were super stiff and my dads Koni/H&R setup was way better. I am unimpressed by my $1600 Fortune Auto’s. For the price I expected more. The knob makes noticeable changes but meh. Anyways, wrong place for this discussion |
