This probably isn't of interest, but I'd be interested in the distribution bracket and all of the oil and water lines, the oil drain fitting at the turbo and sump if you were willing to split.

I much more of an expert on the MSM hardware and basically a noob on any other turbo. A/R.60 seems to be be what we have from the pic but I'm sure someone will be happy to flame me for not knowing what I'm selling... :facepalm::noob: Also the $1k shipped price is for the lower 48. I'm happy to ship kangaroo style but we'll have to talk about the cost.

haaha yeah i was expecting to pay to have it posted to me.
i didnt think the offer was up for overseas paid post. as far as i can tell its not a 2554 cause of the ar compared to whats on the garrett site but then again i dont know much about identifying turbos. |
though checking the garrett site the ar does match the 2560 so my guess is that it is a 2560.

I took this out of the box yesterday so I could read the tag. I was up at Bob Bundy's also working on my new track car project and took the turbo up for his thoughts on it. It has a t25 flange and a .86 hotside. The tag on the housing shows Garrett 739548-5010 part number which google tells me is a 2860RS.
Bob confirmed it is in good condition with no shaft play. He's been building fast miatas for longer than I've even owned one so I trust his endorsement. As for the history, as I said earlier - I bought this from a reputable shop to use on my 1.6 NA. They pulled it off a customer's car who was putting a 1.8 in and going to a 3071. My 1.6 plans got turned upside down when I found a wrecked MSM for not too much more than I paid for this kit. Unfortunately, I had already pulled the trigger on this turbo kit so I just trying to get some of the money back... :facepalm: I'll send Bob a note and ask him to chime in if he remembers anything I'm leaving out. |
