Honestly Ben hasn't been activate since he left mazmart. He's had little activity here since Nov of 08.

pschmidt, are you just hoping that he somehow gets on here and redeems himself or are you taking legal action to resolve this? Whining will get you nowhere, a call from the local DA's office lights a fire under his butt!

over 70 bux? c'mon now
I am as stingy as the next guy, but seriously: a call from the local da's office for a lousy 70 dollars?

I am in no way defending either party though.

Did you not read the other people's complaints as well? If he is willing to do this on a forum he moderates on, what else might he be up to?

Any of the mods have a phone number or something? He obviously isn't on the boards regularly anymore.

If anyone knows his surname and where he lives, then in most cases it's easy to find someone's phone number and other contact info ... I'm not taking sides either, just saying ...

It's over 20 bucks, so that's grounds for a suit. He has "sufficient dealings" in your state (contractual, I would think) so I'de imagine he falls within long-arm jurisdiction to put him in court.

All ya gotta do is report it, you're on a time limit.

Get everyone else in on it and spank him.

Unless his number has changed, I've sent him a text message. Like I said before, he seems like a good guy (and has helped me out in the past), I can't help but think there's some misunderstanding somehow.

And no, I am NOT posting his number.

I'm not saying what he did is not wrong. Its messed up and the people involved have every right to be upset. But as stingy and penny pinching as I am, I still dont think 70 dollars is a large enough amount to warrant a lawsuit.

Not surprised at all, it has already been 9 months.

In the grand scheme of things, no, $70 is not a lot of money. At this point it's more the principle of the matter.

Kotomile, thanks for sending the text.

Not to mention people on this forum like to deal with guys they "know" when selling ****. So it puts a bad taste in your mouth when you know a regular AND moderator is stiffing someone. I'd rather deal with someone on here in good faith than some douchebag on ebay who will complain and file a dispute with paypal AFTER the ************ gets my stuff.

I actually sold something to Ben. Forgot what (hell, maybe I bought something), and everything worked out well.

No lie - the due that sang that song ("Tommy Tutone", but his real name is Tommy Heath) was a substitute teacher at my high school once. He treated us to an acapella version of Jenny/867-5309...it was pretty sweet. Beat that fuckerzzzz! If I had to put a price on the performance, I would say it was worth about, hmmm, i dunno, maybe $70.

Dave Grohl's mom was a substitute teacher for us, that was kinda exciting.
