You could have avoided this if you wanted to. I'm sure the OP will be happy to delete all the personal information once the issue is resolved.

Nobody really cares about that BS. We're more concerned that the OP gets his $$ back.

Seth,

I'm reasonable. I've edited the relevant posts to remove your info.

Haha. You're not a scammer and you've had $430 since mid-December and you are ducking him? Haha. You certainly fit the description of a scammer. Paypal him the money back and fix the problem you created. It's pretty damn easy, really.

I detest dishonesty.

blue turbo mx5 02-11-2009 02:27 PM

Zabac 02-11-2009 02:46 PM

a better threat would have been offering to sell someone something.

Don't know as I've ever seen such an interesting thread in the classifieds section.

You should have escalated the dispute to a claim, that is where you failed on your part. A claim freezes his account until he pays you and makes paypal actually investigate the situation, a dispute is left up to the involved parties to basically solve it on their own.

The PayPal Resolution Center — your first step for any issue

Whether you encounter a problem with an item you purchased on or off eBay, the first step is to go to our Resolution Center to begin the dispute process.

Here’s how it works:

* Visit the Resolution Center and open a dispute within 45 days from the date you sent payment.
* PayPal encourages both parties to communicate directly with each other to amicably resolve the dispute.
* If you are unable to resolve the dispute, the next step is to file a claim within 20 days from the date the dispute was opened.
