you can use the 256's with a stock valvetrain can't you?

tronik 12-03-2008 11:28 PM

I've got a brand new HKS exhaust cam still wrapped, not sure what duration, if anyone is interested. got it with a miata I bought last year.

9mm and 9.2mm lift on them, I have heard people do it, but I am not sure I would.

There is no reason why you can't run the 256 or the 264 cams. They are made to be used with the stock valve train.

Are these actually brand new, or are they "brand new" as in "I'm the third owner and the first guy put 50 miles on them" brand new?

Brian-bbc 12-05-2008 08:12 AM

Not quite sure how to not take brand new in the box some other way then that. These cams have never seen use and are exactly how I described. Brand new in the box

disturbedfan121 12-05-2008 02:43 PM

sold and paid for.

You mean like the brand new RC440s you had?

The ones that had 50 miles on them?

The ones you tried to sell back to their original owner?

I'm not quite sure how you'd take "brand new" any other way, but you seem damn capable of producing your own meaning.
