I was under the impression that an oringed block was not compatible with a steel hg, but that price so far is great.

supra441979 10-11-2007 09:56 AM

it's got probably at least a $2500 reserve

neogenesis2004 10-11-2007 10:08 AM

Still an outstanding deal at $2500. I've almost got that much in my cylinder head alone.

magnamx-5 10-11-2007 10:08 AM

I doubt it can fetch more than 1200$ I wonder if he is selling a 6 speed thoug hmm. Also all that work and no solid lifter conversion or uprated springs or cams wtf.

Head parts add up fast, ask me how I know.

I know, you must not have read into what I said. The cost is why most, almost all, people stay away.

You see this done on eBay quite often, a seller uses as many “Key Words” as possible in the listing. This way if some one is searching for a long block, they will find his listing, or if some one is searching for a short block they will find his listing.

But, wouldn't "1.6 Miata engine block" enable the same results - Opens up a wider seach result - Regardless of the long block or short block addition?
