2L Motor Built by Ric Stephens.

https://www.miataturbo.net/forum/sho...duction+update

Only has 1500 miles on it, but want to move to a V8 Project. Take advantage of this deal.

Made Good Power w/ my turbo kit:

20psi - 402whp/325whtq
27psi - 274whp/365whtq

2002 bottom end (MBSP and stronger thrust bearing)
1999 cylinder head (stock)

Specs for motor, provided to me by Ric Stephens:

Billet Steel Oil Pump Gears (from Bill Wilner)
Pauter Rods
Wiseco Pistons (Compression Ratio 9:1)
Corky Bell Intake Manifold
New water pump
New Alternator

Will include ACT Extreme Clutch and Aluminum Flywheel at additional cost.

I paid Ric Stephens $4300 for this motor...I will sell it for $2500 dollars so I can sell it pretty quick.

Specs on Turbo Kit:

Custom Stainless Tubular Manifold
SC61 Turbo (was getting full boost at mid-high 4000's)
3" Downpipe
2.5" Aluminum Intercooler Piping
Really Big Intercooler (Core is 24X8X3.5)

I paid $3500 to get this built...I will sell it for $2000 dollars so I can sell it pretty quick.

Mike

I'm sure I left out some important information. So, feel free to ask questions and I will answer them.

that's a steal. Did I just buy your ACT clutch on ebay btw? if so, would you consider selling the flywheel to me as well?

mighty mouse 02-16-2008 04:58 PM

I'm going to guess you don't want to part it out huh?

Honestly, I had Ric Stephens build the motor. So, I am actually unsure of that.

I have absolutely no clue how to put it in a crate. But, I have no problem getting it done and shipped...so long as my costs are covered.

Would you please ask Ric?
Crating is easy. You put the motor on a pallet, secure it with straps, build a box frame around it, then cover the frame with large pieces of cardboard or stretch wrap. Then if you don't have a truck dock, it's best if you can take the crate to a shipping depot--There's one within 30 minutes of everywhere.
If you can do that, I have a UPS LTL Freight account. ;)

By all means dude. I'm in no rush, and I already have a head and block.

y8s 02-16-2008 07:01 PM

I think ric uses his own stuff or has them made somewhere. I believe replika maschinen could have been involved but i'm not sure. I think Don @ replika did ric's head for the minimonster II.
