Default BW S252 Turbo

Left from initial sale.
trying to make it easier to manage through individual posting.
Barely used BW S252. No oil leaks or out of spec shaft play.
Great turbo for a 1.8, never had the chance to run it past 12 PSI but it spools just as good as a BB turbo.
Brand new is 1k
Selling for
$600 Shipped in the US.

Specifications.
Borg Warner S252 Turbo also known as the S200SX with 55 lbs/min flow rating

::Compressor:: (cold side)
- Wheel: 52mm Inducer / 70mm Exducer w/ Extended Tip Technology
- Housing: 3.00" air inlet / 2.50" charge pipe outlet

::Turbine:: (hot side)
- Wheel: 69mm Inducer / 61mm Exducer (Made of Inconel 713 for high-temperature operation)
- Housing: Bullseye Power Stainless Steel 0.55 A/R T3 Exhaust Housing (Custom Ordered and was $400 by itself new)

By extending the ends of the compressor wheel, BorgWarner has effectively
increased the pressure ratio, efficiency and flow of the entire compressor.

Another factor that increases the efficiency of the turbo as well as overall
flow is the height of the compressor wheel blades. The BorgWarner extended tip
version is over 20% taller than the standard 50 trim. The theory that the longer
the air stays on the blades the more boost you can run and the more air it will
flow thus improving the aerodynamics of the turbo.

This extended tip compressor
wheel is rated at more than 55 lbs/min vs. the standard 50 trim at only 49
lbs/min.

Compressor Wheel Inducer - 52mm
Compressor Wheel Exducer - 70mm
Turbine Wheel Inducer - 69mm
Turbine Wheel Exducer - 61mm

some more details
The S252 is most closely related to the GT3071R. It's rated at 55 lbs/min where the GT3071R is rated at 47lbs min. You can see in the link below where the compressor maps for both are overlayed. The S252 is in red while the GT3071R is in blue and you can see that overall it has better flow characteristics

it's hard to put in words.
everybody that had a ride thought it was a BB turbo.
between shifts wastegate stayed open, no boost lag.

time to jump on this beast. Honastly 1/2 price of a GR30R but better performance.
time to step it up a bit
I really want to see what damage this does on a built motor. 24-26PSI.
I know it made excellet power on a GTI my friend has.
he saw 350ish WHP at something like 5800RPM before he leaned out and had to let off.

Get this turbo, run 20+ psi, win at life.

I'll bet it will make an easy 400 without even pushing the boost too much.

If I didn't have my 2876 already I'd get this in a heartbeat.
