After making some custom CNC machined aluminum billet coolant spacers for myself and several other forum members, I have had quite a few people contact me asking if I could do a low quantity production run and offer them at a lower cost.

I'm down for one, but not sure I would need one. (I actually cant reach the oil filter if I block it with a coolant hose, so I'm going to do a partial reroute. I'm going to install a pipe straight from the back of the block towards the hard line bypassing the heater. And I will add 2 5/8ths barbs for the heater, but in this case it gets what's left over vs passing water thru it. I'm no genius, but I'm guessing theres just a bit of restriction/back pressure form passing thru the small tubes/fins. I'm guessing this is the cause of the extra 5* on stock miata's and since I'm staying stockish aka no boost, I dont need the extra complications of a full reroute.
What I do need is 2 coolant temp sensor threads, 1/8ths NPT and 3/8ths because I want 2 coolant gauges (long story....). |
