Finally installed my water neck blockoff plate yesterday. Fits perfectly, and no leaks. Beats the hell outta my homemade with a grinder plate. Thanks again for the quality part!

Still loving my parts, think I'm going to pull the trigger on that lower coolant hose piece here soon to make way for charge piping.

I hadn't checked this thread in a while but: wow, yah wish my spacer had been wider. I ended up having to diegrind satans nipple (which is just fun to type) boss so that I could get the hose clamp down far enough. I didn't really think much of it at the time. I had the transmission off the car at the time, so it was no big deal to do with the engine pivoted forward. Until I did that, I was not able to get the clamp low enough and had a small coolant leak when I pressure tested. Now I know it wasn't just me

I just beveled down that corner to get the clearance I needed, seemed to be a lot (well... enough... ) meat there.

You can see my original issue with this earlier in the thread, and why it leaked: https://www.miataturbo.net/miata-par...6/#post1389370

Edit, and for the record, I had the exact amount of clearance LownSlow616 did on my '94's head.

Thanks!

It was a battle of firewall room versus nipple room. I'm glad we were able to get the feedback and continue to make the product better.

We just recently got in the fittings that go along with the water pump inlet parts, so make sure you grab them if you're interested. They should be available on the site shortly.

So you will have a kit with the ORB fittings + hose posted on the site soon then? That would be nice...

I'll make sure they get on the site this evening. We had a busy week/weekend and didn't make it to the website updates.

I haven't installed my reroute yet so i can't comment on that, but I can honestly say that Bandit has things down in the customer service department.

I honestly can't recommend him highly enough. Long story short, I bought the wrong parts. He took them back unused and swapped them for me for shipping. Thing is he did this months after purchase when he was well within his right not to.

Thanks again for helping my noob ***.

Thanks for the kind words!

We definitely aren't in the business of making dissatisfied customers with poor quality parts. Anything we can do to make the experience better, we try to accomodate.

Thanks for your continued business!

Hey had the problem with that hawk spacer from eBay. I tested on a bad core and you can shave 5mm off that water outlet before you break through.

What is clearanced vs removed? Is it solid where i circled (see attachment) or a thin wall?

Vaporwave plays with Corse wiz wheel
About 5mm to the metal right by the hole we cut into a head with valve damage. Lots of room for shaving

Fits way better

Thanks for the update.

Just as an FYI, All spacers now being shipped are the version two (v2) which comes with additional clearance for the hose.

I ran into a few folks out at the Miata's at Hallett event last weekend. Hope everyone had a good time.

We're still moving right along with our parts. Let us know if we can help!
