I can supply you guys with injector rebuild kits for the Denso injectors used in your Miata's or other Mazda BP equipped vehicles. There will be 3 kits available to start with:

******Just a notice to everyone who has already purchased kits from me for RX7 injectors*****
There is a possibility that your injectors use a larger pintle cap than the ones in my kit. If this happened to you I will send you the correct ones free of charge, just let me know here or by PM. I contacted the supplier to get the correct caps sent out Monday 5/19. The good news is I will be adding a special RX7 kit and an EV14 kit to go with my current kits. I dont have a price for them yet but will announce it as soon as I know. One last thing to note is that my current M1 kit will also cover some Toyota pickup/4-runner models and my M2 kit will also cover top feed WRX injectors. |

Your injectors should look like the later Miata thin bodied injectors like the one pictured in the first post. Is this any different than sending them to say Fuel Injector Clinic for cleaning? I have a harbor freight ultrasonic cleaner at home and was wondering if that's all i needed.

Fuel injector clinic likely has an actual injector service machine like I have. The HF ultrasonic cleaner by itself won't really do the job.
The service machine actually pulses the injectors and goes through a preprogrammed cycle while they are in the cleaner and the tips are submerged in the cleaning solution. After that then you put them in the machine upside down and backflush them to get the loose stuff out. My machine is a low end model and I am sure some of the big places have some of the higher end machines (8K$+). |

Here are all the details and information that should answer your questions:
I feel that I am finally ready to offer injector cleaning services to the members of Clubprotege and Miataturbo, after spending some time learning to use the machine and trying different sets of injectors with it. Due to some limitations on my end and limitations of my machine, some things need to be noted: 1: I only have a very small stock of injector service parts, so full service can only be offered on certain injectors, which are anything I already offer kits for. 2: Due to the limitations of my machine, I will not be able to get accurate flow data for injectors of approx 450cc and larger since the test tubes will overflow. If I encounter this problem I will manually stop the machine at 5sec and calculate the flow rate from that time instead of the 15sec time set by the machine, but this is not exactly accurate since I cant stop the machine in the exact same point every time. 3: No side feed injectors can be currently serviced. 4: I may not have the required adapters to do a back-flush on all injectors 5: Any problems or limitations with my service will be notified by PM or email, and the appropriate action taken. Price adjustment, partial refund etc.... 6: Flow bench test will be done 3 times before and 3 times after service. I calculate the average of the 3 runs to determine flow rating due to variables in the machine, fluid, and fluid temperature. Pricing: Full injector service pricing will be $14 per injector + $5.50 return shipping. Injector cleaning only will be $11 per injector + $5.50 return shipping. **No service parts replaced** A full set of injectors (4+) will include return shipping at no additional cost. Full injector service pricing for locals will be $13 per injector Injector cleaning only price for locals will be $10 per injector Injector service details: ***Full service only Check coil resistance External cleaning Flow bench Remove Service parts*** Two 20-minute ultrasonic cleaning cycles *Cycle includes injector held wide open and pulsed Back flush injector*** Flow bench Replace serviceable parts*** Bag/number all injectors and old service parts Before/After results printout Shipping and payment: PM me for my shipping and payment information All injectors should be completely dry of fuel and bagged for shipping. Can I send 8 and have 4 fully serviced, then based on the outcome of the post-service flow testing have another one or 2 serviced as needed for the best possible set of 4? Just a FYI, I have bought many of these rebuild kits(different kinds) from james and even sent him a set of injector for cleaning. He does top notch work and is very quick. I highly recommend!

I sent 4 ugly, 25 year old injectors from a 1989 323 GTX and they came back looking great. The cleaning and new hardware are top notch! Thanks again.

Just a not for people that have bought kits and future customers:
When installing pintle caps its best to use something like petroleum jelly or some other lubricant to help slide it on otherwise they may split in half if they are forced on or another method is to use a heat gun to slightly soften the plastic so it will stretch over the cap. |
Since I have had a lot of PM's asking lately..... I do sell individual injector pieces for those of you running EV14/Supra/ID injectors and other applications that dont need full kits.

I have a set of stock mazdaspeed mx-5 injectors (purple) that leak between the head and the injector. For lack of understanding I guess I changed just the o-rings at the top that attach to the fuel rail but nothing else (that's all I bought) when I had them out I tried removing the lower...cap, seal ??? at the bottom but it didnt come out, it was plastic but there was nothing else so I thought that the o-ring would press enough to seal the bottom too. Long story short, I need to replace the bottom seal, the one that attaches to the head/IM right? What else goes there? just the plastic cap/seal or is there another rubber piece there? What do I need and how much to 11953?
