I believe its the NiCast on the turbine housing. I could be wrong.

yes. corky may be able to do something with it, but i doubt it.

or if you but it for less than $600, buy the correct turbine housing and still save $$$

miataz 12-31-2007 10:16 AM

What about turbo tim? Its been three days, no bidders on it yet:)

Stein 12-31-2007 10:28 AM

The ad says "The GM part number is 97720290" Can someone here cross-reference that?

miataz 12-31-2007 10:48 AM

lmao i asked him what kind of flange that is and he replies

Ya know, I really dont know. Would it be helpful if I just took some more pictures?

aha...wow. Someone want to help me to identify that flange, guys a dummy, i he probably doesnt even know how much the turbos, worth...il get more pics.

Newbsauce 01-01-2008 08:30 AM

From another sellers site:

Turbo for Isuzu Diesel GM# 97720290 Reman Turbo $ 400.0

miataz 01-01-2008 10:50 AM

so your telling me its worth $400?

Newbsauce 01-02-2008 11:41 AM

I was answering the question about where the part number is referenced. I do not know the value.

Zabac 01-02-2008 11:44 AM

its worth well above $400, see Scotts post, sub $600 is a steal...

think you would be able to make a manifold for me for that flange. And if so how much? Or would it just be cheaper to get a different exhaust housing and buy a manifold.

TurboTim 01-02-2008 01:08 PM

Probably cheaper to get a turbine housing (~$180) and an available manifold from whomever. Having me build you whatever normally is the more expensive option but that $180 would go a long way towards a custom manifold. But the easier option seeing how you are not close to NJ is to get the housing and BEGI manifold.

miataz 01-04-2008 10:49 AM

well he posted up new pics http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123 it looks weird to me im going to have to make something with it, theres only 4 hours left and no bidders...unless someone else bids on it within then. Is there even a flange that looks like that, so i would be able to make up my own?
