FS: 99 head /w intake manifold
I had this head sitting in my garage - time to sell it.
It's a complete 99 head with intake manifold and fuel rail. Everything you need to swap it on a 94-97 car (except the throttle cable...).
Head is in good shape except some pitting on the "flat" parts of the combustion chamber.
It needs to be machined. It's a junkyard head. Any junkyard head should be machined *ANYWAYS*. BogusSVO says it's fixable - all you need to do is machine the head flat. My machine shop charged me $100 for it. I run a junkyard head on my car - from the same junkyard.
Let's start with $400 + shipping. Negotiable. Local pickup preferred
More pictures:
Fuel rail with correct fitting to go from NB-style fuel lines to NA-style fuel lines. All you need to do is install a return-style FPR from NA miata.
I don't want to separate the intake manifold until the head is sold.

400 is the asking price, but feel free to make me an offer. I want to get rid of it.

Do you happen to know what shipping to 65203 would be. Head without intake if miatamania is still interested in just the intake.
Thanks.
Thanks.

It looks like something solid found it's way into the combustion chamber and rattled around in there for awhile. In the second picture does that crater next to the intake valve make it's way all the way to the valve seat? I'm interested in the head...but am fearful that it needs significantly more than $100.00 of machine work. Would you mind taking the cam caps off to check that the journals on the cams are in good shape? I have already been bitten purchasing a head that the cam journals were junked.
