Factory M Wheels BBS Mesh 15"

I guess these were teh factory wheels on 95 M Miatas. Did a quick clean up job on them, but its too hot here in FL to get detailed. When I take them off I'll do a bit better job. Shipping will be available and I'll get them weighed to figure out a quote. Center caps but no BBS emblem. Specs 15x7 et 35 4x100 no tires.

Looking for $400.

Wow...I really miss my 14" BBS wheels.

These are a great deal, GLWS.

If they're still around when I have money next month I'll hit you up.

ripracer 08-05-2009 10:24 AM

Put them up locally a week ago and surprisingly, no bites. So I figured it won't be hard to ship such a small light weight wheel.

miatamania 08-05-2009 10:57 AM

What is the weight on the 15" wheels?

gospeed81 08-05-2009 10:58 AM

I shipped mine in two bundles...I think it was almost $70 to ship them.

ripracer 08-05-2009 11:05 AM

Looks like 15lbs on my bathroom scale which usually reads a little higher than the scale at UPS.

ripracer 08-05-2009 01:36 PM

I was told that the 95 M wheels were actually 15x6". These have 15x7" et 35 stamped right on them as well Germany BBS.

kjr50 08-05-2009 01:53 PM

If they're 15x7 et35, they could be BBS RG-F(?)...then they should weight ~10lbs.

gospeed81 08-05-2009 01:56 PM

sounds like aftermarket that somebody just happened to put on an M edition.

Either way I want.

Excellent choice.:bowrofl:

Okay, just used proxy during lunch to get around firewall and looks at pics.

Those are definitely not M edition wheels. They aren't RG-Fs either.

Looks like an OEM BMW application, but may still be aftermarket.

gospeed81 08-05-2009 03:17 PM

Judging by the center caps they're not so much missing the "BBS" emblems as they are the "BMW" emblem.

This link suggests they are from an E36 or E39:

BMW OEM BBS Wheel Center Hub Cap E36 E39 325i 528i New:eBay Motors (item 350235728523 end time Aug-10-09 20:24:28 PDT)

Not trying to rain on you're parade, just helping to find wheel weights etc.

EDIT: I've yet to confirm this though, and am pretty sure those were both 5-lug cars.

ripracer 08-05-2009 07:36 PM

I'll take a picture without the center cap on if that helps, but like I said they weigh in at 15lbs on my scale which is usually a couple pounds high.

UrbanSoot 08-06-2009 01:05 AM

ive had same ones and they came from early 90s vw golf gti. they weighted in at 14lbs if i recall correctly. either way, very nice wheels but a total bitch to clean!

ripracer 08-06-2009 08:17 AM

Definitely agree with you on the cleaning part Urban, I think I'm going to put them in the parts washer today, if they'll fit to get them a little cleaner.

Now that I can see the pictures, these are not e36 wheels (5 lugs) nor GTI wheels. GTIs are 2 piece wheels with allen screws at the outer ring.

Was thinking of these, but I could be wrong about being 2 piece.

Selling my built kouki today. So someone buy these or they are going back on my NA and putting it up for sale, b/c I'm going to get a new NB.
