I'm not personally interested. However, for others info, is the coil pack 3 wire or 4wire?

Is that the head off the engine with a blown head gasket in your build thread? How do you know it is in great running condition, and how do you know its not warped?

Yepo its off that engine. I know its in good running condition because i've put a straight edge on it and its not warped, and everything else looks ok. (valves are good light brown and black), cams and lifters are not scored, and previous owner said it didn't burn oil before the blown head gasket (so valve seals are good). I told her either way I didn't care and this was after I bought the car so she had no reason to lie at that time.

I am going to say this though the head any head should be milled very slightly when installing a new head gasket. $75 at most machine shops.

Man I wish I could afford that top.

EDIT: I will trade you my black one for it. Wouldn't exactly be fair, this one is two years old(one year spent in storage), and has plastic window, but is nice.

Incorrect, aluminum heads can't afford to give up any material on the deck. Aluminum heads should be resurfaced as a last resort.

Mazda's max is .008" if more than this is taken out, then it should be replaced.

Thats the first i've heard about it. I've read many people mill there heads up .040" with aluminum heads. Not miatas be that. I did .030" on my sentra. But even if its true a clean up mill is usually only .003-.005" So well within specs.

You're asking in a thread that is 7 months old. Don't be retarded.
