STB will make a difference if the chassis is also beefed up.

They're also good for mounting nitrous/fuel solenoids on.

I know the miata is pretty stiff as it is, and they make no difference on our cars. But I was thinking of using it as a towel rack actually.

compared to a rusted out TR6, I'll agree. A Miata handles well DESPITE the sloppy chassis.

When I had the STB on my car it seemed to reduce vibration in the front of the car. I've since taken it off and installed FM frame rails ... better much better.

I just got one for an Accord for $20 shipped on ebay for a towel rack. I never have a place to put wet towels in the garage after washing cars, and if I can't find a place to put it, it's made for one of my buddy's cars.

I'm not doubting that the bar won't do much on a Miata, I was just commenting about your thinking a Miata is stiff as is.

If you just want one as a towel rack, pick one of these up. http://shopping.netsuite.com/s.nl/c....category.16/.f

$5 for most.

strut tower braces don't do much for shock towers.
