Have you priced out wheels, tires, mounting and balancing lately? It adds up quick!

Whoa, ok didn't realize those tires were a buck sixty a pop. I guess that's not that bad of a deal then.

Stupid me.

yah those are big boy tires

it would be a good deal if they still have a good bit of life left in them, but its hard to tell.

that tire is usually a 215/50. pretty wide for 215 though.
with only 8 runs on them , thats about 8 minutes of run time. i'ld say they are still pretty new.
talk him down to $500/maybe $600 / and its a good deal

If the tires are 2 years old (he wasn't specific) even with only 8 runs, they will not be very sticky. Actually worse than some street tires. I've had quite a few 710's that got slick from sitting for a season even when properly stored. I wouldn't pay more than $500 for that setup since the wheels are really heavy and the tires aren't going to be great.

Yeah, if the r-comps have time to oxidize it doesn't matter too much on how many runs are on them lol.

I've seen some 13x9 keizers with 2 sets of 255 A6s go for $700 though. One set of the hoosiers were 2 months old with 8 runs on them lol. Wish I had the money at the time to snag it up.

That's a reasonable deal - I sold the same setup about a year ago for the same price. My tires were pretty much brand new too - maybe 2 events.

Here is an even better deal I found earlier this week - $300 for Keizer 13x8s with Hoosiers that have decent life left (seller estimated one full season of autocross). The Keizers are much lighter than the Rotas too.

SCCAForums.com - SOLD: 4 13" x 8" Keizer lightweight alloy wheels with 225/45-13 Hoosier ASO5
