When I say something is mine, payment goes out within minutes.

I'll let you know how it feels

:D

mr_hyde 06-28-2013 12:55 AM

Not only did he send money immediately, but the description in the payment was... amusing.

Vlad, the gears will ship out tomorrow via FedEx home delivery.

Also, I will post an update early next week. Right now I've got two folks scheduled to drop by Sunday who will, in theory, be taking quite a bit with them.

This is the second time I've rid myself of all of my worldly possessions- it's quite a cathartic experience, and one which I recommend that everyone try at least once per decade. We tend to be Edward Norton in life, when in reality, we need to be Tyler Durden.

The R&P is on its way.

Hopefully your FedEx guy has a sense of humor. (You'll understand when you receive the box.)

Hot_Wheels 06-28-2013 10:34 PM

I'm thinking about taking I8 out to whales vagina but never been on it so not sure if it's a shitty drive. Anyone taken that route before? Google tells me it's the fastest way. Better than 10?

I've done it several times to get to PHX and back. The part where you over the mountain range is actually kind of fun.

Excellent. Truck is rented. Handles like garbage. Should be fun.

So the first round vultures have come and gone. Both Alex and Kenny drove surprising distances in puny compact pickup trucks and did an admirable job of packing them. Here's Kenny exceeding the manufacturer's recommended load in a Toyota T100:

He was also good enough to ply me with a number of extremely interesting ales. The Flemish Sour in particular is not an easy one to find, and this style is one of my hands-down absolute favorites:

Items which remain:

1: TV. Toshiba TheaterviewHD 55 inch. Includes 5.1 receiver with speakers, and matching sofa (pictured earlier.) I'd prefer to hang onto these until around the first week of August. Also DVD player and Xbox 360:

2: Plastic shelves. Also oil drain pan, direct drive e-bike rear wheel/motor (26") with controller and twist-throttle, two cans of genuine R-12 freon and three cans of R-12 compatible refrigerant, half a bottle of anti-freeze:

https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...1&d=1372636697

3: More plastic shelves, with big plastic tub (perfect for draining radiator into), some half-dead 12v SLA batteries, box containing an enormous quantity of random nuts and bolts (mostly new in half-empty labeled packages), and some random copper tubing:

4: More plastic shelves, with bag full of dura-flame logs.

5: Wall-mounted shelving, workbench, shopvac, 26" front and rear MTB wheels (front no-name, rear Giant Revel w/ disc), 48" two-tube light strip, tire durometer, and pretty much everything else pictured except for drill and oxygen bottle:

https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...1&d=1372636710

6: VP 5 gallon fuel can:
