anyone know if it's possible to run '99-'00 non variable cams in that head?

interesting question... Keep in mind there are no cam caps so a bit of machine work is required after you source a set.

yeah I know... but I also have several friends who own/operate machine shops so line boring shouldn't be an issue.

Sounds like a deal for you then, lets see what others say about the cam swap but I would put my money on it can't be done...

Exhaust cam is the same. Pretty sure I've looked at the intake cam before and the journals are way different.
