FS: 1.6 Turbo Kit

10 Attachment(s)
Turns out weddings are expensive so my toys have to go. Selling my pieced together 1.6 turbo setup. All intake/exhaust/fuel/electronics included.

-Greddy manifold w/ 10mm studs
-What I believe to be a Racing Mazda DP (2.5") modified to work with standard T-25 style turbos.
-Genuine GT2560R, recently replaced outlet studs, cartridge rusty due to hood vents directly above, but fairly low mileage.
-DP back crush bent 3" exhaust system with Hooker Aero Flow muffler (catless)
-Modified intake manifold w/ cold start valve delete, custom and ghetto adapted '99 T-Body (VTPS & IAC included but haven't used them) Ground down the material in the manifold to match the wider bore. Vishnu dual feed rail, practically new Denso 195500-4460 injectors (RX8 AT STD power secondaries, ~540cc)
-Toyota COP setup
-MSPnP Gen 1 w/ Perrin EBCS valve
-LC-1 w/ gauge
-FM intake tube and filter (NB style, not perfect for application but works)
-EVO VIII OEM intercooler setup, 2" from turbo to inlet, 2.5" from outlet to T-Body. Bailey Motorsports BOV. A six inch piece of the 2" piping will be missing, but I'll try to throw in something to take its place.
-Genuine Walbro 255 fuel pump
-Knocksense (sp?)
-Whatever water/oil lines I have, although I wouldn't use the water line setup currently used, works but I don't like it.

I'm probably forgetting some other things at the moment. Decent kit if you're looking for a cheaper DIY alternative to a more professional setup. Would like to get $2k for everything. Still in car and running, hoping to pull everything out this weekend. Also took some videos of the car this evening. I'm keeping the valve cover.

Price to sell cops setup? Pm me if you wanna sell it seperate?

akbloom 03-22-2013 04:28 PM

If you're willing to part stuff out I would be interested in the LC-1 (and maybe the gauge depending on the model) and the MS PnP. Let me know.

If I can get someone to bite on the turbo/mani/dp I'll be open to selling those items separate.

akbloom 03-23-2013 03:55 PM

I might also be interested in the mani/dp and maybe even the turbo as well. Because it is a gt2560, am I correct in assuming that the manifold is t2 flanged? Prices? Thanks

JMarsh 03-23-2013 06:52 PM

I would be interested in just the tubo.... I live in Cumming, so no shipping...

akbloom 03-26-2013 09:47 AM

Bueller? Bueller?

Dustin 03-26-2013 12:06 PM

i may be interested in exhaust if you can get me pics/video.

Thanks

Sorry guys, been quite busy. I'll see if I can get a video up so you can get an idea of the sound. I really like it, pretty loud though. And what are these turbos selling for these days?

Turbo pricing for units like the GT2560 are related to the current health of the ball bearings. Any idea how many miles are on it? Can you feel any shaft play?

Unlike bushing turbos the bearing units can't be rebuilt and the entire center section has to be replaced, which is $800 or more. A new GT2560 is about $1100.

From a buyers perspective one has to be very confident in the condition of the bearings as it could end up costing more for a used turbo + a new center section than just buying a whole new turbo.

I don't know how many miles are on it, it was in excellent condition when I purchased it and I've only run it for about 2k miles. I'll be tearing the car down Saturday and I'll get some good pics of it without the turbine/compressor housings on and check shaft play.

That turbo/manifold/dp set-up works together? I thought the greddy manifolds were 14b/16g flanged? If they do work together let me know the price of the manifold/turbo/downpipe. If they don't work together I'm still interested in the manifold, the cop set-up, and the LC-1, just let me know the pricing.

The Greddy manifold uses a T2 flange for the turbo inlet, which is the same for both the Mitsu and standard T25 style turbo. Where they differ is the turbo outlet. The DP is modified to work with the non-Mitsu style turbos. I'll get the turbo off the car today and get some pictures and more info on its condition.

I'm very interested in the manifold. I recently acquired a t2 Garrett and I need a manifold before my event on the 13th. I can pay you within a week. Please let me know :)

I am interested in the greddy manifold and the exhaust, the manifold is in perfect condition never been cracked or repaired? Price each separate item shipped to West Covina, CA 91790.
I just bought a used greddy kit and the manifold has been repaired and I don't like the look of it even though it may work I don't want to chance it if I can find a different one. Pm me on price or post it here either way. Thanks glws
