Default NA Koni Sport Suspension

Set of (4) Koni Yellow Sport struts assembled with Apexi 195/95 Springs. I purchased them used from another forum member about 6 months ago. They've been in my garage untouched since. 1 tophat is damaged from seized hardware during their de-installation. Everything else looks fine. No evidence of oil/blown seals.

Use them as-is (after replacing the 1 NA tophat), or get some stiffer springs and maybe some NB hats. My plan was to use them with some sort of coil over perches (either Koni or Ground Control) and stiffer springs... but in all my indecisions and inactions I ended up getting Tien coil overs.

I see the struts going on ebay for $550-600. The springs are probably in the $150 range new I'd guess.

<edited>
Price is $250 shipped including paypal fees, or $200 local pick up.

I'll get pics later.

I'm thinking $300 on the set including shipping and paypal fees. And I'll do my usual of offer it here first, and if it doesn't sell in a few days, I'll post it everywhere else for a little higher price.
Probably could sell them for roughly 200 shipped to someone on this board, considering someone probably sold them to you for a good price.

Well the magic number I was looking for was $250 shipped. Hence asking $300. That way I break even and everybody gets a deal.

$124 ea is still $500 + shipping...

Oh, and I did give them a nice bath in the parts washer. They're not sparkling like new or anything, but do show a tad better than shown by Brainy.

Ben - I'll take 'em at $200 picked up as long as they are in good shape. Can you/we disassemble so that we can check the action of the rod as it is compressed/rebounds?

I took apart the suspension on my Integra a few weeks ago and found that two shocks were blown...I had no idea (one of the rods wouldn't rebound at all!).

I already work ~55+ hrs/wk and have a 3 hour commute.
I'm not really looking to mess with them. Lack of time to disassemble them (I have no spring compressor at my house) is the reason why I have not installed them on my car. I was seriously impressed with the few Koni cars I've been privileged to drive. The Teins (fully assembled with rates that will work for me, ready to bolt on) kind of just fell in my lap, otherwise I'd let these Konis sit until I take a vacation next spring.

Ok, cool, I totally understand being short on time. How about this - I'll take them, and if I have any issues once I get them apart I trust that you and I can work something out. Deal?

I'm free on Sunday afternoon if you want to meet up to make the exchange.

Nick,
Let me be as transparent as possible. They're used. I bought them used. I am unsure of how many miles they've run. But they're sold in good faith. They look great. There are no signs of damage, abuse, or failure. I have no fears or reservations about them.

However, unless you can talk Senator Government into federally insuring a set of used suspension components, they will be sold as-is, where-is, and with warranty of fitness or merchantability neither expressed nor implied. If you need a guarantee, I suggest you plop down for a brand new set at retail from your friendly authorized merchant. If you'd like some really nice shocks at a rock bottom price, sold as stated above, then feel free to contact me.
