Default Adaptronic 420C plug and play with 99-00 Harness

** SOLD **

So one of the remaining items from my big turbo car part out is my Adaptronic 420C ECU. This unit is in good condition and is fully functional, having just completed a check out by Travis at Boundary Engineering. I am selling it with the plug and play adapter harness for a 99-00 Miata.

I will also include the GM 3-bar map sensor (for use with the 420C) with its electrical connector, and a professionally dyno tuned turbo map.

$660 for everything (plus shipping). Operators are standing by.

What did you go with instead, and why?
Thanks

I went with a completely different car all together. The Turbo Miata was parted out and scattered to the winds (RLogan, DVCN, RayvnX, etc. etc.) and replaced with an E36 M3 due to family transportation needs.

I thought about adapting the Adaptronic to the M3 but I have decided that I should leave the BMW alone and just drive it. For now....

Someone here at work has an E36 M3 coupe with an LS1 via the Vorschlag kit. If the S50 motor ever blows up (hopefully never) then that is what I will do.

If you have a 99-00 and are going to turbo somehow, someday, it's a safe bet at this price to buy this and put under your pillow for the future. I'm not just talking out of my *** on this. I paid over $900 for this same ECU.

This is very tempting. Think it would idle 460's at 800 RPM all day long?

With a shitty tune you won't idle jack **** even if you bought a Motec 880. No offense

Picture of the Adaptronic, the adapter harness, and the GM MAP sensor. This has the 'red' label on it but it has been upgraded by Travis to the 'black' label version, which I believe includes upgrades to some of the output driver components.

If RLogan sells me his dp/mani/exhaust/wg, i'll rethink my waiting strategy and maybe pick yours up.

Do i need that map sensor if i only plan for no more than 300whp?

Yes it will. In my case it was controlling an engine with a 99 head so I did not use VVT.

Another nice thing I did with it is I used the second fuel map to drive a high speed water injection control valve. Thus I had a 3D map for the water injection system. It worked very well. That WI map is in the file I will include.

You need a MAP sensor regardless (you probably know this) and the Adaptronic is already set up for this GM unit. I suppose you can adapt a different one but I cannot help you with that.

RLogan's dp/mani/wg setup is very nice by the way, like Absurdflow quality. I've seen it first-hand and it is a good deal for what he is asking for it.

I can provide a PC cable that I have used. It is a USB to serial adapter cable which works with no problems. The WARI tuning software is available (free download) from the Adaptronic site.

FYI this unit may be sold pending the paypal payment. I will post up here if that changes.
