Default FS: 2004 6-speed transmission (40k miles) - $800

FS: 6-speed manual transmission out of a 2004 Miata MX-5 that had 40k miles on it. Worked great when it was pulled from the car with no mechanical issues. Perfect for either a turbocharged car or a fast naturally aspirated one.

Comes with the shifter and the external boot. Local pickup only (Durham, NC - 27713).

or add a location to your profile.

if I recall right, the 6 speed is normally a 4.1 vs the 5 speed with a 4.3. do you have any experience with the 6 speed with the higher numeric / lower gear ratio? I'd imagine with the lower gears in the transmission the acceleration is pretty spectacular

6 speed is usually with a 3.9.

Play with a gearing calculator to figure out how big a difference it makes. This is a pretty solid price for a low miles trans.

it is, more the question is when I'm headed that way or close enough to that way to pick it up
