400 and you got a deal
|
really...........550 and ill throw in a turbo blanket!
|
its not for me. my cousin doesn't need anything aside from the turbo. if you don't sell it let me know if you change your mind
I'm not trying to lowball so if that's insulting to you I'll edit the post:) |
no its okay! 500 shipped is as low as i can go for the turbo and WG actuator though, the turbo will have to be reclocked though! i got parts i need to get for my 95!
|
would probably be better if you had the turbo off the car?
|
How many miles are on it, what boost pressure did you run it at, is there any shaft play, etc?
Why mention that you're including the WG and bracket, considering they ship from Garrett with those? It IS a genuine Garrett part, right? Just making sure... Lastly, which flanges does it have? |

It IS a genuine Garrett part, right? Just making sure... Lastly, which flanges does it have? And it's a real Garrett turbo. T25 flanges. |
If it's good enough for Corky, it's good enough for me.
What's the technical term for the 2 and 3 bolt flanges that are on the inlet and outlet of the compressor for some turbos? I've seen this type yet the ones I've owned always have had the machined ~2.5" tube "flanges", requiring no adapter to connect to the tubes. Can you purchase GT2560s with different sizes of tube flanges, or is that standardized? I dislike the idea of having another fitting in the system...if this fan has tube outlets, little shaft play, a fair amount of miles, etc, I'll probably be your taker. |
it has machined tube outlets! very little shaft play, it only saw 7psi of boost when it was in my hands and the turbine flange hole have been drilled out for 10mm mani studs!
idk how many mile are on the turbo! but Rotornut can attest to the condition of the turbo, it used to be his............and i take very good care of my parts! i will begin to pull it off in the morning! i may be selling the mani and DP so i can buy either a ARTech or Absurdflow mani and dp. if i decide to do so i will make another thread for those parts! |
I'm not sure what size manifold studs I have, but I'd imagine they're M8 fasteners. I'll check tomorrow and let you know. I don't know just how awful of an idea it would be to run an M8 stud in an M10 hole...
|
probly not to good of an idea! you can order the studs from BEGi and take your mani to a machine shop and have them open up holes in the mani and tap them for the 10mm studs!
|
It looks like BEGI runs 10mm studs in their manifolds anyways; it might not be a bad idea to install larger studs while I'm in there anyways.
Did you not run the turbo very long? Just selling it for something bigger? The price is quite good and I'd just like to be sure I'm not going to get a shoddy piece of hardware, that's all. Sorry for being so damn inquisitive and taking up all of this thread space for stuff that should be in PMs, but I don't have a post count high enough to speak in private. :noob: |
You do now. ;)
As wonton said, it used to be mine before I upgraded for something larger, which is what he's doing now. It's a great piece of hardware and was part of the original FMII kit that I used to have. Overall mileage on it should be around 40k, if that. |
