Didn't sell the first time around? Too bad, this is a great deal!

what kinda power do these make at the wheels? Will I need an intercooler for track events?
this could tide me over until I put together a turbo car. |
ya, its still here, i just want it gone already. its packaged and ready to go. literally ready to be shipped off.
|
You could probably get 130-140whp with out an I/C, I think this is about 5-6psi.
I've driven a 1.6jrsc car and they are a lot of fun. |
hustler, my car put down 135, no tuning, no clamp, on 2.5psi (had a boost leak at the time) good torque at higher speeds. if i were tracking it i would say get some race gas or a tuning unit. the power on the supercharger as far as my experience nicely peaky, would work nicely on the track.

I am thinking I can do this, then get MS installed, then do the real deal turbo motor.
I travel for like 3 months at a time, with one week in between deployments, so this could be a nice option. |

I've driven a 1.8 at 7 psi with an IC and it was cool (and rolled arround in the red TDR car), but I am scared of running this car hard with crappy piggy back engine managment. what does the AFR look like? Is the o2 clamp necessary, and does it actually get safe AFR's?

the afr is that space ship looking thing in the picture with the hoses running out the bottom. well...i guess it looks kinda like a bullet...i dunno..:P

PM sent hustler.
btw. the o2 clamp is available with this if you want it, more of a freebie, but its in pretty sore shape, and fairly janky, yet it did work surprisingly. |

I was referring the the air/fuel ratio, not the fuel pressure regulator.

Lots of people have run the 1.6jrsc with out any need of additional fueling. I'd recommend something for timing though.

Yup it should for the short term. I know someone who is using one on a 99 with the Powercard, TRD I/C and BBK.
|
ya, thats the point of it, lol :P that will give you timing for sure.
|
i've sent you a pm, I need a little time to think about this.
|
still up for grabs.
